House Cleaning
Ron himself sold me on it with his
apparent work ethic and professional demeanor. I can't truly fault
their service a whole lot, especially for the price. However, after 8
years of faithful relationship they began to steal over a few months
that last year. Old bits of gold at first (I later found out) and then
the clincher, my wedding band. I really didn't believe it at first and
gave them the benefit of the doubt. The very next visit they proved me
foolish and stole two beloved pairs of earrings - the only ones my
husband had ever given me. Everything was gold - and I'm sure sold for
the cash given the price of gold at the time.
This is horrible
but might not have ended my relationship with the company if Ron had
stood up and owned responsibility. I filed the police report, made a
claim on insurance, etc. But it was not enough to cover all that was
lost. I figured since he was bonded and insured that would be enough - i
was not looking to make a profit and would have dropped charges if
they'd returned these sentimental items - none of it was that costly
really but enough to do same damage to our savings to replace. But he
denied it all and without enough hard evidence there was not way to go
after them.
If you want a decent affordable cleaner they're good -
but lock up everything and don't expect the "bonded and insured" bit to
help out if anything should happen to your things.
