They did not finish the work, never showed up when they promised, installed the entire counter and part of the floor in the bathroom crooked and on an angle. It is not level and they did not want to fix it because it would be too much work... They are under investigation by the California State Contractors License Board.

I hired them and was told it was a 4 week job but it is now into month 10 and the work is not done. He would rarely show up. I would take off work and come home to wait and they would never come. I would call them and ask what is happening and they had excuse after excuse. He sent out unskilled Hispanics that spoke very little English that did not know what they were doing. The guys were never supervised and the constantly broke things, and installed things improperly. Mori also showed up to one day with completely different materials than what I ordered; and he told me he gets the jobs confused because he had too many at once. As of right now I still have wires hanging out of my ceilings, all of my cabinets are installed crooked, the travertine counter is crooked, the travertine floor in the Master Bath was not floated and is off by 3/4 of an inch. They never checked to make sure they leveled it! I paid him $6,000 to start and a couple months later I gave him another $7,700 because he said he needed more materials and to pay his workers. He always promised to send cleaning crews to pick up after them. He never did and instructed me to hire someone and he would deduct it from any balance owing or reimburse me. They have ruined my walls,frames and windows...etc and he owes me over to $1000 in reimbursement from all of the things I had fixed and instructed me to get them taken care of and has never paid me back. I have had contractors (Angie's List recommmended) come and look at the work and provide a bid to finish the work. It is unanimous, the job was poorly done and one contractor will try his best to fix just the cabinets and countertop and nothing else and that will cost $3,000.00. Another contractor said to fix it all right, the floor because he put it in wrong and used chipped tiles, did not float the floor and put too many shims in the cabinets and measured wrong will take at least twice that. He does not even want to do the work "because it is like opening a can of worms". All contractors that have seen the job, can not believe that this contractor is not fixing his mistakes. I am hoping that the State Contractors Licensing Board can see this mess and reslove this and have it fixed.

Their work is excellent. Our kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful and we are absolutely pleased. The approximate cost included all labor, materials and the demos.

Mori, the owner has good taste and great ideas. Guiti, who runs the showroom is gracious and helpful and always efficient in contacting Mori whenever he is needed. We couldn't be happier with the work Ritz did since the kitchen turned out to be more efficient than before and more beautiful than we had hoped. The cabinet doors are more interesting and attractive than any we had previously seen. We got three bids before picking Ritz Interiors and we were most impressed with Ritz and their quality of work.

ONCE THEY GOT STARTED WITH THE PROJECT, THEY TOOK A LOT OF TIME GET GOING. IT TOOK AWHILE TO GET STARTED, BUT WHEN THEY STARTED, THEY WERE GOOD.
