B.P. Custom Roofing

For a big job like this, I spent months researching.  I searched Angie's List, I searched Yelp, I asked for referrals from a major shingle supplier in the area, I got multiple quotes, I researched licenses, I called references, I called the insurance companies that covered them, I drove by other homes they had done and knocked on one person's door to talk to them.  Hey - it's a lot of money, want to make sure it's right, right?  So, I did all of that and I chose BP Custom Roofing.  For all the reasons above - he checked out just fine.  However, what I appreciated most about Bill is that he is super straight forward.  He spent a significant amount of time educating me on what the different types of roof sheathing I could use, and the proper calculations for what type of ventilation would be required to maximize the roof's warranty.  He does everything by the book, he shows you exactly how he arrives at the numbers, and is very patient.

His contracts are very detailed and he walked through every part of it with me so I understood it and answered my questions along the way.  He explained everything that was going to happen before it happened.  The roof removal company did their job quickly and cleaned up every scrap piece of wood and nail around the yard.  Bill's team worked diligently throughout the project.  The project did take longer than we originally anticipated because of a threat of rain, more rot that had to be replaced than we thought, and one of his workers had an issue that caused a delay.  Bill apologize and made up for lost time by also working on a Saturday. 

Bill stopped by the job every day to supervise progress, give me updates, and make suggestions/tweaks as we went along.  I have a neighbor who is very friendly and watches out for one another.  My neighbor said that Bill and his crew were very respectful and worked quickly throughout the day.

Now, I'm just wanting it to rain so I can my investment at work!
