We are BBQ Renew, a small company that prides itself on delivering superior high-end BBQ Refurbishing for discerning BBQ Grill owners with names such as Viking, Fire Magic, Lynx, DCS, Twin Eagles, PGS (Performance Grilling Systems), AOG (American Outdoor Grills), Turbo, Summerset and many other high end brand names. Chances are if you live in Orange County, CA we have provided service to one of your neighbors who decided to bring their expensive Gas BBQ Grill back to near-new condition by renewing it, rather than spending several thousand dollars buying a new grill. We can bring your 10 year old BBQ grill back to life with a full BBQ Renew Restoration - at a fraction of the cost of a new grill! And, for those grills that aren't worth restoring we even sell New Gas BBQ Grills! We also offer other services including Fire-Pit Cleanout/Tune-up and Outdoor Patio Heating as well.

"[Member Name Removed], you called us 15 months after your [Member Name Removed] was serviced. We immediately took your call. You said you have been using it the whole time. You DID NOT say you only cooked a hot dog in 15 months, ha ha ha LOL. Then, you said the last time you used it you had issues last weekend. I told you we could schedule a service call to see what's going on. Told you we warranty parts for 3 years against defects. I gave you various reasons as to why (spider webs in valve, clogged burner, etc) you could be having issues, since you said it's been working the whole time. I told you it's an $80 Service Call charge for us to come back out. If something is defective we would cover the parts no charge. I did not demand payment up front. [Member Name Removed], after 15 months you call in and demand we come out for free or will write us a bad review on Angie's List. Well [Member Name Removed], that's just not reasonable or acceptable. I reviewed the notes from your job 15 months ago and show you were a "problem" client back then. Looks like you are still a problem. Please don't call us back ever. Thank you."
This was a big deal purchase. It was very good. They came right after the purchase date.
Recently, I've come to notice that our family's desire to grill in our otherwise pleasant backyard, has slowly started to dwindle. Our built-in Lynx BBQ was pricey and I thought it was time to start getting some enjoyment out of it again!
Granted, I didn't much want to cook on it either, it was filthy; full of rust, soot, and.... come to find out, snails and rat feces. My initial thought was to clean the grill myself, needless to say, it didn't go very well.
Finally, I turned to the internet and LUCKILY found a local, family-owned, company called BBQ Renew, located in Laguna Niguel, CA. I gave them a call immediately to get a free estimate. The price seemed a little high at first, but I did agree that it was much cheaper than buying a whole new grill, so I gave it a shot.
We are all glad I called these grill gurus. The cleaning took about three hours and I had no idea how thorough it was going to be. They took the entire grill apart, grinded the grates (revealing the chrome that had been hiding for so long), removed the debris (snails and rat feces included), completely cleaned and sanitated it, then buffed it to reveal our long lost beautiful chrome barbecue.
IT LOOKED UNBELIEVABLE!
This service is very worth the price, in fact I think it's pretty cheap. Kory even replaced one of our broken lights, for free. Plus, they cleaned up their entire mess when they were, you never would have known they were there. AND! They voluntarily cleaned the mini fridge next to the grill; I love a company that is proactive and puts the customers satisfaction before their profit.
My husband and kids were SHOCKED when they saw how clean it was. It truly did look brand new.. and for some reason, the food tastes better now, cleaner and fresher. So, thank you to the BBQ Renew team, for reminding me that there are still some genuine, honest, passionate, and hard-working, small businesses!
This small company really strives to connect with the community on a personal level, and keep their customers educated and satisfied. I HIGHLY recommend calling this duo for all your BBQ questions and needs. Apparently they do repairs and upgrades, too.
Good find, and a great service at a fair price! Rare these days.
