Both Kory and Dalles were extremely knowledgable about my particular brand (Lynx), and knew, within seconds, why the cooking flame was uneven, amongst other problems. My husband had been trying to figure it out for months! Kory was genuine, honest and upfront about the price of the replacement parts and cleaning, they didn't try to push me to buy anything I didn't need, which I love. He also found a way to get me a discount on the necessary replacement parts! After my free consultation and estimate, I was informed that the price for my cleaning would be around $200 (price varies by size and condition of grill), and that any other issues we needed fixed would be at an additional cost. Thinking the price was a little high, I was slightly apprehensive. I couldn't have been more wrong, for the amount of work and time the team puts into each barbecue, I think the price is fair, maybe even a little low compared to what most companies charge for labor these days. When the team began working, I was pleasantly surprised how detailed they were, they literally restored my grill, inside and out. The process took about three hours. My grill was taken completely apart, the grates and insides were cleaned using a grinder (I think), and some sort of cleaning solution; the insides were emptied out and disposed of properly; they took the trash with them! I was horrified when I learned what had been hiding underneath my rusty, old grates: snails, rat feces, old food, soot, ash, and who knows what else! I couldn't believe my family had been eating food off of that for so long; that CAN'T be healthy. Kory and Dalles informed me that many of the grills they clean have rat's nests in them and people just aren't aware. Luckily, no rats were found in my grill; but they did tell me stories about their great rat rescues. As part of the cleaning, all rats, nests, insects, and any other critters are removed. The BBQ Renew team was a real pleasure to have around. They were warm, knowledgeable, trust-worthy, and detail oriented; they even played with my two rowdy German Shepherds! When the grill was completely finished, I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW AMAZING IT LOOKED! It really did look almost brand new. I am so grateful to have found this local, little company; they've saved my tons of money... and time. Thank God I didn't buy a new BBQ! After discovering all the nasty little surprises lurking within my grill, I am ecstatic to know that my kids are eating cleaner, healthier food off the grill. I swear the food even tastes better! In short, at 8 AM we started with a rusty, pest-infested, sooty, spotty, stinky, old honker of a grill, and by 11:30, we had a gleaming, perfectly clean, polished, chrome grill that functioned just as well as it did the first day we bought it... nine years ago! No more rust, caked on food, grease, soot, or ash. Service with a smile never hurts either; I strongly recommend incorporating BBQ Renew into your yard maintenance... you get your lawn mowed, your pool cleaned, windows washed... why not keep your barbecue looking great and working like a dream?! We are on a maintenance program where they come out every three months, clean it, and repair any problems; this will extend the life of my grill and save me cash. My whole family is very please with the finished product. The other day, my daughter was so impressed by it, she asked if we could have a BBQ with her friends that night! I said no, but that's not the point... this service was beyond worth the price and essentially pays for itself. Pure quality! WE LOVE OUR RENEWED GRILL!
