"Dear [Member Name Removed] D, We are disheartened to hear about your dissatisfaction, but we must address some inaccuracies in your review. You contracted with us for landscape design for your front and back yard. You signed the contract on 9/28/2022, our designer met you at your home within five days of your request, and your design was ready on October 19, 2022, well within the time frame promised, but we had to hold off sending it to you because you had still not made the first half of the payment that was due weeks earlier. Our records show that you made the initial first half payment on November 6th, 2022—more than 5 weeks after it was due. We provided the design rendering immediately. You replied by email acknowledging receipt, and requested the measurements stating you wanted to “go out with a tape measure and imagine where things will go” before finalizing it. We provided you the measurements that same day. We reached out to you via email, text, and phone to make revisions, or finalize the plans. We did not receive any response from you or your wife. We would have happily provided you with a construction bid had we been able to communicate with you, but you stopped all communications with us once you had your design and measurements. Our design contract stipulates that final payment is due either when the plans are finalized or within six months of the contract, whichever comes first. This agreement is not contingent on receiving a construction bid or completing your design if you choose not to communicate. Your final payment was 12 months overdue- and after making more than 10 attempts to contact you, your account was assigned to collections. We genuinely value the satisfaction of our clients and take great pride in our reputation for trustworthiness and transparency. We would have been happy to have a respectful conversation with you regarding your experience, however, as result of the profanity and threats included in your recent conversations and voicemail messages we will consider this matter closed."
"Hello [member name removded], Thank you for your comments. I'm so sorry that somehow your call was not returned- these appointments are typically scheduled at the time of the call, so I will work with my office to make sure this happens. Please accept my apology that your call somehow fell through. As an owner of a company, it is my biggest priority that customer service is excellent and clients are happy. I'm especially sorry to hear this from a [member information removed] resident, where I have recently finished a beautiful project. I would be happy to bring you by and provide any consultation for your job, no obligations of course. Please feel free to contact me direct- Tulio 949.280.7920."
I recently purchased a new home and the previous owner let the pool go. It was very green and so I went online to get help. After I purchased the coupon from Atlas, I learned they couldn't get out to see the pool for 9 days. I had to go to plan B so I hired another company to come and assist. Today I reached out to Atlas and explained the situation and said that I am not looking for a refund, but if I could use the $49.00 toward supplies such as brushes chlorine etc... They said no. There out of pocket cost was zero, and since I know they sell supplies I was shocked. I just can't figure out why?
"I'm sorry to hear that our inspection service didn't work out for you. It's highly unusual for a wait time to extend more than a couple days. In addition, I would happy to issue a refund for you, if Angie's List policy permits this. It is our goal for all clients who interact with our business to have a great experience, even if we're not the service, remodel, or repair provider. If AL does not permit a refund, we can certainly apply this credit to a service call or a filter clean. Unfortunately, we can't usually apply it to store items since the way the deal is structured it would required significant discounts- we are a family company and our margins don't permit that kind of discounting- however, if you let me know what your needs are I can look into something that might work. Please feel free to contact me direct if I can be of any assistance- [email protected]. Best, Cheryl"
"Hi [removed member name], Thank you for posting your review, and your comments about Tulio. He is very knowledgeable and a great contractor to work with! I'm sorry to hear that it sounds like there may have been some confusion. All of our estimates are good for at least 30 days, and we keep estimates on file for at least one year. There is no required 2 day turn around to call or sign- we encourage our clients to take their time and review the detailed bids at their pace. We're open M-Sat, 7am - 4 pm, and you can reach us by phone, email, or fax. If you have any questions, or we can be of any assistance at all, please do not hesitate to give us a call. Best, Chrissy [email protected]"
The pool was plaster, 25 years since it was installed. Atlas blasted out all the old plaster and took the pool down to the concrete. We chose the mini-pebble finish. It's lovely. New tile all around above the waterline. Redid the attached spa as well in the same pebble and tile. All new pool equipment...heater, pumps, filter, etc. Really transformed the place. In fact, a picture of our new pool is now in the tile supplier's catalog (okay, it's a small picture, but there it is...).
I can't say enough about Tulio. Easy to work with. Makes sure everything is done correctly and that we're satisfied. We signed up for his monthly service. Again, not the least expensive out there, but the pool guy takes his time to do it right, as opposed to the three or four we've had in the past who zoomed in and zoomed out leaving behind a marginally serviced pool. Plus, my philosophy is to give the monthly service to the same company that installed the pool equipment. That way there is no finger pointing in case something goes wrong. Nothing has gone wrong. The office staff is friendly, helpful, and again, professional.
Highly recommended.
"Thank You for your feedback"
