SANI-TECH CARPET MAINTENANCE

Steve arrived right on time for my 2.5 hour time slot. He quickly set up his truck-mounted cleaning unit, tapping into a sewer drain in my garage that I didn't even know I had. He worked on my high-priority areas first, since I had decided to only have him for 2 hours (since I was paying by the hour). However, we determined as he worked that he could finish all my carpets with just 30 more minutes of time, so this was worthwhile to me. After he steam-cleaned the carpets he used a special machine to help dry them out. It looked like a big rotary sander w/ an 18-inch diameter pad on the bottom that soaked up the water. My carpets were dry in a few hours after setting our air conditioner to 72 degrees F (brrrr!). Steve left us four pairs of booties to slip over our feet while walking on the damp carpet. I did all of the pre-vacuuming - why pay them to do it? I also moved what furniture I wanted to move in order for them to clean more square footage. I didn't have them move beds or heavy pieces of furniture. Their price was high, but I truly believe that most times you get what you pay for. Three years ago I paid about $325 to a different vendor and my carpets didn't look nearly as good. I will hire Sani-Tech again and again. Love the results and it will save me money not having to replace my carpet for a few years yet!
