Jay came out immediately the next day and once we agreed to a start date his team was there, on time every day and did extremely high quality work. We were having other work done on our house and the contractor was reviewing Pacific Crest Roofing's work and he commented, "this is really high quality work. They have done a great job!" While I felt the same it was so reassuring to hear someone in the building and construction industry confirm the quality was top notch. We also decided to go ahead and replace our gutters around the full house and they did that seamlessly and perfectly. I would absolutely use Jay and his team again and highly recommend them.

Jay came to my home one day after I called him to look at the problem. Based on what he could see from my fireplace door and looking up from the ground outside, he determined that the cause was either a leak from the chimney cap or from under the tile around the chimney stack. He could see dry rot along the wood overhang. Within a week, his crew was at my home, on time, and determined the leak was from a loose chimney cap. They replaced the hardware to secure the cap, replaced the paper under the tiles, and sealed everything. They also replaced some of the wood overhang with new painted planks (I provided the paint). The crew was on time and finished within a few hours.

I got 3 estimates to do my roof. One estimate I got was from someone who was not licensed. The second estimate I got was extremely high. The 3rd estimate I got was from Jay, (Pacific Crest Roofing). He was very professional, had insurance and was a licensed contractor. His price was more then reasonable. My roof was a mess from the previous roofer. The wood under my shingles was full of mold and mildew. Jay replaced all the wood using the best products on the market, sprayed my roof with mildew killer, and sealed everything tight. His crew did a fabulous job for less then half the price of the other estimates I got and even gave me a 30 year guarantee. I couldn't ask for anything more. I would definitely use Jay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. What's quite funny about the situation was that when my second bidder called me back to ask if I wanted them to do the job, I had told them I found someone else. They asked me who. I told them Pacific Crest Roofing. They replied, "oh Jay, he's a great guy and does great work." When your own competition can give you a great reference, you know you've got the right people to do your work.

Over the past rain storms we had in January/February I discovered some water leaks in our home. We had some roof leaks due to some exhausts/vents not properly sealed in our roof due to age and cracks. Also noticed that I had a leak in my fireplace into the house. Jay from Pacific Crest came out and right off the bat was very professional and explained their process. He advised to get a roof tune-up to seal all such compromised points on the roof and he would also look at the Fireplace. We also had him help us get rain gutters installed. Overall Jay seemed like an honest business and was able to give us an itemization estimate, later followed up with proper invoice and estimate which came in exact to what he estimated. We had other roofers come out to our home and their prices were obvious that they were looking to cash out on the rain storm and issues it had caused. Jay was not like that at all and his pricing was the best quote we received. We would for sure use Jay and his team again as they explained what they would do, quoted what they would do, and more importantly followed through and met the expectations.

Very professional. Jay was one of very few roofing companies that actually called me back to inquire about my problem...I tried many and all said weeks and months out due to everyone needing roofers because of the severe winter rain. He came the next day and gave me a quote that night. It was a tricky area of roof with many factors...gutters, fascia, flat box roof, tile roofing all around, recessed lights and removing a skylight in the same area. He is very good at communicating what needs to be done and very good at keeping in touch thru the whole process. He was easy to reach via phone or email. This job involved a demo and repair crew, gutter installers, and a painter that also installed some drywall. They all did quality work and showed up on time. I would absolutely PCR again. WOW! Were we impressed ... starting with his professional demeanor and business format. The most important thing for us and our ultimate reason for going with PCR was the fact that the roofing crew were family and looked out to each other to provide a quality job. They were able to quickly remove and replace the existing underlayment just before the rains started in late December. Even with the rains they came in on-budget and on-schedule ...In fact, our roof now looks better than when it was new! This company is outstanding! Pacific Crest and owner, Jay, are the best. From start to finish Jay was caring and professional . He was the only roofing company that came prepared with actual roofing samples of what we could buy. His estimate was well written and easy to understand. Jay's workers are as caring and professional as he is. His workers always arrived on time and left the area cleaned up before they left. Jay usually answered the phone and if he didn't he called back in a timely manner. We are very satisfied with all of the work.

Jay Gioia (owner) came over to give an estimate a week prior to the work being done. He was our 3rd estimate, priced in the middle of the other two. We picked Jay and Pacific Crest Roofing because he offered a 10 guarantee on his work where the others offered only 5 years. Jay had the crew tarp our roof the weekend before starting work, as rain was in the forecast (it did rain!). The crew arrived bright and early and worked diligently each day. The crew was professional and friendly and cleaned up after each day of work. We saw Jay a few times during the project , which lasted under a week. We have had a couple days' worth of rain the day roofing was complete. No leaks! We highly recommend Jay Gioia and Pacific Crest Roofing.

During gale force winds in early December our skylight blew off of it's base. Since it was on the weekend, it was difficult to contact local handy men, so I decided to call a roofer. Jay called me back that evening, and arranged to have his supervisor come by the next morning. Not only was the supervisor punctual, he was 10 minutes early! He was kind and friendly, and had the skylight re-attached, and the new light panels cut and reinstalled within 45 minutes. I felt like it was an answered prayer. Pacific Creast arrived on time and were extremely professional. The roof was evaluated and repaired immediately. It couldn't have gone smoother and we couldn't be more pleased. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to our friends.

I received 3-4 bids for my re-roof and I was amazed at the lack of follow through by some of the companies that I contacted. Some of them did not show up for the appointment and 2 of them did not provide a bid and 1 contractor took over 30 days to deliver it. Pacific Crest Roofing was the complete opposite to the above. I contacted Jay (the owner) and he came to my house that evening. He then delivered a written bid the very next day. His bid was VERY competitive and most important to me he seemed genuinely interested in my goals and provided some great input. I had to reschedule the job a couple of times due to delays with other work that I was having done and Jay was very flexible and accommodating. Once the job got underway Jay was very attentive and his crew was great. They worked hard and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Through out the process Jay was responsive and always focused on making sure I was happy with the result. Pacific Crest Roofing and Jay himself are great! After contacting him by phone, Jay came to check out the job and was all around a very pleasant person to deal with. I was worried about my job being too small, but Jay treated me as well as any other customer. The job was finished quickly and at a reasonable price. He did not try to hard sell me on anything and gave valuable insight as to the health of my roof. When the job was finished he provided an invoice and even came back later to check on a little part we had questions about. I found him to be very professional, trustworthy, and competent. We have some other repairs that we are delaying until next year and will certainly call him for them! I have experience with other very competent roofers but I would recommend Pacific Crest Roofing over the others.

Flawless, the most professional contractor I have ever worked with. Staff was always on time, they left the job clean each day, etc. Jay came to the first meeting prepared, way more so than other contractors. He had already a picture of our roof and size and was ready to do an estimate. Also, he offered good suggestions as to how to save energy with some simple venting. We ultimately had all the other contractors bid to his specs, even though none of them even knew or suggested some of the electric saving ideas Jay had. His price was still close to the best. They overloaded one of our circuits with their power tools and they had an electrician come out promptly, on the weekend even, to fix it. Very pleased, received many compliments on our roof from others.

We got three estimates from installers certified by CeDUR. The one from Jay Gioia, owner of Pacific Crest Roofing in Laguna Hills, clearly stood out because of its thorough breakdown of costs. Although his was the low bid, Jay's bid also offered the most in the area of underlayments, replacement of damaged boards, and the inclusion of several roof vents. Jay's crews specialize in 1) removal of the old roof, 2) installation of plywood panels and three layers of insulating material, felt, and moisture barriers, 3) arranging and nailing on the shingles, and 4) repair of any incidental damage and paint touch-up. A part of the roof is flat and was covered with layers of silicon sheeting. All members of the crews were knowledgeable, polite, and ready to provide us with explanations when asked. Our property was cleaned of debris every afternoon before the crews left for the day. Crews worked every day until the job was finished. Jay Gioia carefully supervised the work quality on a daily basis and kept in excellent communication with us. It was a pleasure to work with Pacific Crest Roofing. They met or exceeded all our expectations.

I received four bids/estimates, their bid was in the middle. Jay (the owner) was very personable, had all the insurance papers, tile samples and information when he came to give me the estimate. I was very impressed with him, but I decided to go with another company with a lower bid. When I told Jay I was going with someone else he asked what my budget was and said he would see if he could give me a lower bid, which he did. I was concerned that he would cut corners, but he assured me he would be following the required procedure and products and that the cuts would be mostly in his profit and finding better prices with suppliers. He said it would take three days to do the roof and it was scheduled for the end of the month. He called a couple of weeks later and asked if it could be moved up to the 17th. The weather report said there could be rain on the night of the 18th but that they should have the roof protected by that time. They came on the 17th and removed my old roof. The rain started early afternoon on the 18th. They really scrambled to finish my cricket area and cover the rest of the roof with the black felt paper. After a couple of hours it was raining hard, but they had it covered with the felt and had to quit. I had a crack in my ceiling from a leak in the cricket area from before, but Jay assured me that my roof wouldn't leak overnight and it didn't! They came the next day and finished the job. They did everything that was in the estimate plus gave me an extra vent for a total of four and repaired some wood. There were no extra charges. Jay stopped by each day and updated me with the progress. They covered everything they thought might need to be protected with tarps and cleaned up each day and swept the yard for nails. So far it's all good! My new roof looks very nice!
