We hired Patrick Conboy to do a kitchen and downstairs remodel. Unfortunately, we were unaware of all of the negative reviews on the internet regarding Patrick Conboy before we hired him. Regrettably, our experience with Patrick Conboy was similarly poor. The initial estimate provided by Patrick Conboy was significantly lower than the final cost, leading to unexpected increased expenses. Patrick Conboy demanded more money for projects that were mutually agreed upon in his initial budget proposal. We were not informed of those price increases until several months into the project after demolition had occurred. Ultimately, Patrick Conboy abandoned the job, ran away and did not finish the work he was supposed to do. Moreover, Patrick Conboy repeatedly lied that items had that items had been purchased and were "on the way" when, in fact, they had not been purchased. Patrick Conboy is untrustworthy and unprofessional.

NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. Pat made promises he did not keep. Pat stole $55,000 or our money and left the job unfinished. I wish I would have read all the terrible reviews left on Google before I hired him. We hired Pat back in May of 2023 to remodel our kitchen and master bath. He told us our job would be done in 6 weeks and now we are going on 10 months! It was our first remodel and we were naive when Pat said he needed $20,000 to purchase the cabinets and then every week it was $5,000 or more. Random people would show up at our house and ask us for money. We have just filed against his Contractors license and will be going to court after that. Save your self a ton of time and frustration and do NOT hire Skyline Kitchen and Bath Inc. Pat Conboy can not be trusted.

HORRIBLE! BEWARE!

Patrick Conboy took a lot of money from me for a remodel and has failed to finish it. The work that was done is horrendous! Major issues with almost everything. 18 months later and he refuses to come and finish/fix my house. He took my money and then left. I am forced to pay others to come in and fix/finish my home. He was late on every single deadline. He took deposits for work and then sent no workers for days on end. He refused to refund my deposits when I complained about the lack of work being performed and the bad quality of what work was performed. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE! And we are now 18 months later and HE REFUSES TO COME BACK AND FIX THINGS! My house is just aweful...a real mess.

Here are a few facts to consider before you hire this con-man...

1. Patrick J Conboy is unable to renew his contractors license because he has been sued by a client (and lost) and has not paid that judgement yet (from years ago)
2. He has teamed up with Shaun (Muir) Weir of MCS Skyline (dba) and is using his contractors license to perform construction
3. He (and skyline kitchen and bath (dba) & skyline construction and design) have been sued and lost more than once. Breach of contract/warranty and Fraud to name a few.
4. Orange County Superior (supreme) court has civil case files online. Google the court
site and search the last name Conboy under online civil cases
5. CSLB (California Sate Licensing Board) has a website. Click on Search a license then search the last name Conboy. His license # will come up...read the fine print...it says expired, but look closer...it lists the things he needs to do in order to re-instate his license and one of them is PAY A CLIENT THE MONEY SHE WON IN COURT FROM HIM (fraud).

DO NOT HIRE PATRICK CONBOY or SKYLINE KITCHEN AND BATH (dba) or SKYLINE CONSTRUCTION AND DESIGN! If you do you will regret it like I did.

They were highly recommend to us. When they quoted us, they miscalculated some things that would have increased cost a few  thousand dollars. He said he would still honor the original price for us for him making a mistake. We understood that and were going to pay the difference and as a courtsey they still knocked off a few thousand. We were very pleased!
