Initially Haddy appears personable, thorough, sincere and capable. After several months working with him, I discovered that there was a dark and dishonest side not evident initially. My old Viking cooktop and hood disappeared from my garage to which he claimed I wanted donated to a charity. This is false and a downright lie. He reported to a subcontractor that I had not paid for work (which I had paid in full 2 months prior) which resulted in leaving a important job ( master bathroom window partially) done. As El Ni?o nears, because he removed the stucco around my window , the exterior wall is exposed to the elements. This only scratches the surface of the problems experienced in trusting Haddy let alone dealing with shoddy workmanship . Areas of the exterior which Haddy claimed were repaired and painted fully were not complete resulting in additional expense to redo wood replacement on an exterior stairs, reprinting Etc. Slap a little bondo on was his motto even though he claimed he was budgeting generously for wood to complete necessary repairs. Quick fix was the technique. The list is long. A word of caution, should you be charmed by his friendly demeanor , pay his subs direct, get outside quotes and don't allow him to complete your job with his one man crew that he blames for every problem , claims to fire him then hires him back to do more sloppy half jobs. There was a need to constantly hound him to compete projects, supervise subcontractors , and have his subs flush my toilets and keep,their urine IN the toilet. Sadly disappointing con artist and I'm not sure what actual skill he has. Thankfully the subcontractor that completed a majority of the stone work and flooring did a great job. I'm holding my breath that the shower isn't leaking on the inside of the walls . Despite the fact that plumber came out several times, I had unattached hoses and pipe leaks until I hired an outside plumber. Oh yeah, if he gives you the song and dance that after construction is complete he has someone clean vents, flushes drain lines Etc Etc. Don't believe it! Superficial bs and never done. I could be a crazy lady he explains away should you present this review to him. I invite you to see my photos and explore my views for yourself and make your own determination.
