 + 4 moreThe whole process of completing a series of unpleasant home repairs in time for the close of escrow generated a lot of anxiety in me. In addition, the contractors originally recommended to me were unwilling to take on the task. Once I contacted Buzz Diorio of Diorio Construction (a referral from one of the general contractors who refused the job), he agreed to do the work and did everything he promised including starting work at the time he promised. When there were difficulties finding what had been identified by the termite inspector, he tracked down the inspector, met him and worked out what needed to be done. Though I didn't know what to expect because he was very informal when we met him, he proved to be a conscientious, true professional. And his pricing was very fair.
Description of Work: Diorio Construction did an array of jobs that had been identified in a home inspection as in need of repair. Some of the work was required for the clearance of escrow. Among the items repaired was roofing repair, filling in holes in drywall in the garage, reattaching ducts and installation in the crawl space, repairing door locks, and least desirable of all, replacing dry rot in the sub-flooring and joists of the house. To do the later it was necessary to remove the hardwood flooring and Diorio Construction arranged for a company to reinstall the hardwood flooring after their work was complete.
