Claudia Interior Design

Claudia was very professional and has a great eye for design. She gave us great ideas which we have since implemented. The downside was she charged too much for her service. She had a minimum 5 hour consultation which, frankly, is too long to spend talking about anything. She also sold us on having access to her dealer discounts at various stores, however, she only offered half of her discount which meant she would make substantially more money just from coordinating the transaction. We ended up getting the full discount by other means which saved us over $2K.

I had a consultation session with Claudia recently. It was a very productive and enjoyable experience. She communicates effectively, quickly understanding my needs and wants and coming up with great suggestions. At the end of the session, I not only have clear plans for the family and living rooms, but also a beautiful side table that I would never have found on my own in our living room. I am very thankful for her help. She saved me the headache of deciding on colors, space planning and furniture selection. I will definitely recommend her to my friends and choose her for my next project.

We hired Claudia for 5 hours. She came to our house right on time, and we spent 5 full hours working together on every aspect of our design. After 4 hours we went to the tile store and ordered the flooring and wall  tiles. We were exhausted, but really pleased to have made all the decisions in a single day. Claudia was superb throughout. She listened carefully, but also offered her opinions and new ideas, many of which we had not thought of. We would definitely hire her again for any of our design needs.

Finding and hiring Claudia to help us to come up with a color palette for our new house was one of the the best decisions we could have done.  It will save us a huge amount of time, lots of heated discussions and wracked nerves. 
Our meeting with Claudia was very productive.  Since she came fully prepared for the meeting and was very organized, we were able to make decisions about colors/materials for the living room, kitchen and two bathrooms: that was awesome!!!  Her expertise, impeccable taste & personalized service is hard to find and she shares her resources with her clients.             
Claudia wasn't the first interior designer we talked to.  Based on my previous experience I was very anxious about the upcoming meeting.  To my big surprise I enjoyed the interior design session with her.  She is thoughtful & a good listener.  She was able to assists to two individuals with very different tastes.     
Being very tired that day I forgot to ask some important questions during the meeting.  I emailed those questions to her and within hours got a very helpful response.  Thank you, Claudia, for being available and supportive even after your official obligations had been fulfilled!  It is very much appreciated.    
If we need any interior designer's assistance in the future, now we know where to go.

Claudia came well prepared with many material samples and ideas. She readily shared her resources and offered many cost saving ideas. She helped me develop a vision for the design projects in my home. Claudia is easy to work with and very professional.

This was the first time we've used a designer and we feel we hit the jackpot with Claudia. She has excellent taste and a sense of style such that our home has the cohesive, modern look we were hoping to achieve--plus it's comfortable. She charged a (reasonable) flat fee, and advised and shopped with us for an entire house full of new furniture and rugs. All recommendations were excellent, as were the subcontractors she uses. As with other reviewers, I would not make a move without consulting with Claudia first! She is conscientious, responsive, and a lovely person to deal with.

Claudia helped us pick out hardwood flooring and carpet for our new home and it is beautiful. With her great contractors, we were able to have it installed before we moved in. She also gave us advice on sofas, rugs, and a chandelier. She is great to work with and can tailor advice based on client tastes.

Claudia is an extremely talented design professional. She was punctual, courteous, and extremely helpful during our 5 hour consultation. We had a ton of questions pertaining to some small projects around our house as well as a major addition we are adding to our home and she handled all of it with energetic grace. She has an excellent eye for design, particularly the modern style. I appreciated how she kept our stylistic preferences in mind but emphasized what was truly going to work with the style of house we have. She gave us great tips and ideas on how to nudge our home into a more modern style without going too extreme --since the outside of our home is a bit more traditional. She had excellent advice. I would work with Claudia again in a heartbeat and have plans to hire her again for a full project in the near future.

We hired Claudia to help us plan some remolding after a recent home purchase. In two hours she was able to give us very valuable advice about color, style, and tile/carpet/floor choices. She was even able to recommend great vendors and store locations for supplies. We definitely recommend her to others and we plan to hire her to do more work in the future for us.

Claudia also chose quality contractors that were timely, responsive, and fairly priced. They also did an amazing job on the wood flooring (we have lots of stairs) and the tile in our bathrooms. I always felt they were honest, professional and respectful of our home.
The best part about our home remodel was Claudia's vision and phenomenal professionalism. I continue to be so incredibly impressed with her responsiveness and follow-through. If everyone was as service oriented as Claudia, the world would be a better place. As an added bonus, she has a spectacular sense of humor, which is really nice when you are trying to choose flooring, paint colors, or anything else that isn't always easy to do. It bears noting that she charged a fair flat rate for the entire project except for a little shopping trip that occurred several months after the main project. Lastly, she makes you feel like she cares about your home as much as you do, which I think is a rarity. I highly recommend Claudia to anyone for any interior design service. She will exceed your expectations in every way.

The project took over one year and increased in scope from the original vision. Claudia was very respectful of our decisions and helped to hunt down a number of special preferences. She is personable and wonderful to work with.
We bought a short sale home and took it down to the studs.
The entire project was fantastic, especially when considering the problems people have in construction projects. The design was fantastic and she worked well with our contractor.
Claudia worked with me to pick out every door hinge, lighting fixture, tile surface, hardware and and fixture. She met me at numerous showrooms to bring the project together.
This project had numerous details and was may times overwhelming. I was fortunate to have such an amazing team.

A do's list: Have faith in her design, relax and enjoy the ride. Don'ts list: Don't alter the design mid-way through. Focus to stay on the budget. (Claudia always kept me on track).

I worked with Claudia on a major remodel of my condo in 2007-2008 and could not be happier with her work. She is enormously creative, incredibly knowledgeable, dependable, energetic and has a fantastic attitude. She kept the entire project on budget and on time. Her attention to detail is extraordinary and she is always willing to go the extra mile to make her client happy.

My partner and I hired Claudia Morales to redesign our master bath and closet after rave reviews from good friends. I cannot recommend her high enough! Despite not having the budget for high end finishes or materials, Claudia was able to make our bathroom look and feel amazing, stylish and posh. We had an awesome contractor, but even if we didn't, I have no doubt that Claudia would have been there to manage him (thus eliminating a HUGE headache for us). Even still, she made his process easier by providing excellent details and specifications for him to use. Remodeling is a very stressful process, and Claudia was always available to answer any questions or assuage any concerns regarding cost, design, or mess. We now have a bathroom and closets that we love and our friends are envious! Perhaps most telling of our experience with Claudia are two stories. First, in recounting the events of our remodel to my mother (a frequent remodeler), she asked if she could have Claudia move to their neck of the woods to handle their projects (I doubt Claudia is interested in moving). Second, after this whole process, I have decided to follow in Claudia's footsteps and go back to school in pursuit of a career like hers.

Overall, terrific. Claudia does not over promise and/or under deliver.

She came in and measured the kitchen and bathroom areas. She drew up preliminary designs and then we worked with her on some changes until we felt that it was the best option and fit our budget. She was very friendly and available when we had questions or concerns. From when construction began to when it was finished, she was there to make sure the contractor and workers were executing the plans properly. Everything turned out beautifully. We couldn't be happier.
