They are very fair, the rates are comparable, and I have worked with her for years and years.  I have seen her bring people in that have cosmetology papers, and I have seen her train them in what they are doing, and then they can work there if they want to, or the different stations. There are others that have been there a long time. She is good. She has steady beauticians. She keeps up with the latest things going on, and she comes up with new things like extensions and make sure they are done properly. I have seen her work on fashion shows as part of the community help. She has been very busy doing a lot of educational things, keeps abreast of new things out and looks at the best products. She is very good in her own right in assessing your hair, and what is the best way to do it now. She works very well with your hair. She checked my scalp and it was orange, and she told me to have it checked out. It turned out that I had iron deficiency.

It is a good, clean and nice salon. It is a small place and maybe just 10 chairs over there. I have used only one person there and her name is Jennifer. It is kind of casual vibe and not upscale. It is like a upper middle place. It has got a nice and friendly atmosphere. Jennifer is really good and very nice. She is friendly. She always does a great job. She listens to what I want. She talks me through. They are really good about calling me. I tried different places and I liked them. I never had to wait.

I was new in town, and wanted to find a hairstylist; I came across a coupon to try this place. Before I made an appointment, I researched reviews online, and many recommended the owner, Bobby. The appearance of the interior and exterior of the salon was like any old beauty parlor in a small town. I wanted a modern, trendy hairstyle, but by the looks of the place, and the hairstyle books on the coffee table, I knew that was not what I was likely to get. Most of the hairstyle books looked like they were from the 1980-1990s. I was glad that I came prepared with a picture of the hairstyle I wanted. Bobby was friendly and professional, but some of her employees made me feel unwelcome; I sensed that they were uncomfortable with someone of another ethnicity in their shop. I asked Bobby to replicate the hairstyle in the picture with a few adjustments. When she was completed, I was pleasantly surprised that I liked it. It was especially pleased, since I had a coupon and paid only $29 plus a tip. Overall, Bobby was friendly, methodical, and competent.
