It took a little bit of thought before I wrote this review. My experience with this General Contractor was inconsistent (in a number of areas) at best. I was told by the GC that the job would take 3-5 weeks to complete, but it ended up taking four months. That was the first problem. I am told however, that timeliness is a frequent issue in the construction field. However, I was unable to move into my home and had to pay to live elsewhere. Another problem I encountered with this contractor was a lack of professionalism in particular from the ?foreman? on the job. He was sarcastic and rude. On more than one occasion, I had to ask the ?foreman? to stop yelling at me. He excused his behavior by stating that I was asking too many questions. The final straw was when the granite was being installed. The foreman got into an argument with the granite installers over measurements and he left me with them to sort his error out while he went to his truck and proceeded to chew tobacco. After that incident, I contacted the owner of the company and told him I did not want the ?foreman? near my home again. The owner stated that he would take over supervision of the job. I also felt ?price gouged? a few times as the initial price that was quoted to me became higher once the invoice was presented. For example, for two corbels that were priced at 12.00 at Home Depot, I got charged $250.00 for their installation. Additionally, I was told that I needed a water pressure regulator, which I had suspected, and I was told those regulators are around $100.00 and that I would also get charged for the labor per hour, which again I expected. Somehow, the final price on the water pressure regulator was $450.00.
To date, the GC still has not completely finished the job as there remains one door that requires painting and motion sensor lights that don't work properly. It?s been roughly two months since I submitted final payment .
In contrast, many of the men who actually did the work in the home were pleasant, kind and respectful. And, for now, the work that they did do looks okay but I guess time will tell there.

starting the remodel when the old galvanized pipes started giving out, resulting in major water damage. I contacted a couple of contractors and soon found that they were reluctant to take on the full remodel. Finally I was
