I wished I'd come here in the past. It's so close to my home with a very friendly home town feeling. I felt like I got excellent care for my cat. Everyone was so nice and set my mind at ease. Over the years I've been to lots of vets. I highly recommend Dr. Huang and her staff. Next week we have a follow up visit with her colleague Dr. Burnett.

I brought my mother and her dog to La Verne Animal Hospital based upon the reviews in Angie's List and we were extremely happy with the service. Dr. Burnett and his staff were very caring and compassionate. They called my mother a number of times to check up on Sunny and squeezed her in the day before Christmas when they only had 1/2 a day for office hours. In addition, they did not charge for the exam or euthanasia during the second visit. The only charge was a check my mother made out to the company that did the cremation in the amount of $80.00.

.Because I have a hard time giving medicine(old woman), he gave her a shot for the allergy. He said that if she hadn't stopped scratching completely in 2 days--call him. Otherwise,comeback in 2 weeks.Then the assistant carried the cat case out to the car for me. I have never had such wonderful care at a vet!!!

I have lived in the city of La Verne for over 30 years. We have always had animals - cats, dogs, birds etc. We had tried nearly every vet in 10 mile radius including the big store vets such as Pets Mart. We have had a lot of bad ones and some good ones. The good ones typically got so busy it was hard to get in to see them or they started raising their prices and became unreasonable.
About 10 years ago we found Dr. Burnett and have been with him ever since. Aside from his exceptional skills, he is a great communicator, keeps great records and cares about his patients. He is not inexpensive but when we call, they will provide an appointment time and when we arrive, the wait is never more than 10 minutes. What I like is that he does allow time in his days for emergencies. So if we have one - he can slot an appointment that day and we get right in. His staff has been with him as long as I can remember. They are efficient and compassionate. A few years ago I had to put down one of my dogs and Dr. B. explained the whole process and allowed us to hold our baby as he passed and never rushed us out after it was over. That was a special experience.

First time visit. All personnel were courteous, professional, and obviously loved animals. They have an Angel Fund to assist in the cost of procedures. They gave me a discount through this fund because I had saved the kitten's life. Otherwise, their prices seemed reasonable, mostly on par with other vet services. Will definitely be back!

It was a painless exam, and we discussed the dogs health in detail. I gave the vet a short medical history, and then the dogs were given three necessary vaccines. It was time for a refill of their heart worm medication, but the vet did not require them to have a heart worm test ( saving me $50!), because they had taken monthly heart worm meds, and weren't in danger due to the low incidence in our part of the country. His honesty was much appreciated. I had called previously to get a cost comparison on vaccines, and this vet was the most reasonably priced by far!
We paid in the exam room, and were able to exit through a side door so there wouldn't be excessive barking in the reception room. This vet was very qualified, and he and the staff treated the dogs with great care. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone!

My dog had given birth to 12 puppies 3 days prior. My regular vet was going to charge me over $450 to remove the dew-claws. After calling around, I decided to try this vet. He was extremely professional. He had been doing this procedure for 20 years, including his wife's show quality boxers. He examined each puppy for defects and did a wonderful job on the dew-claws. They made sure we were the only ones in the office at the time because of the newborns. I will definitely keep this vet in mind for future visits.

My daughter had adopted this little dog from the pound because she wanted to do a rescue. Pound dogs come very often with kennel coughs, and this dog did. Also, both her ears were badly infected, so they got all that cleaned up for her and did a followup check on her. Since then, she has been very healthy, so we haven't been back. They were very kind with the animal. It was a very good experience, and we were very pleased with them. Their prices were pretty much standard compared to what all the veterinarians are charging. We would rate them highly and would continue to use them in the future.

They were great. We used their service about two months ago. We are going to take our dog again for a rabies shot. We looked at Angie's List for them. They were just wonderful and affordable. We were completely happy with them.

Our dog is 14 years and the vet there has done all her surgeries and all that. Now she is on prescription food and we went there to check if everything is okay. He is a good vet, seems to be interested in animal and seem to be sincere He also has another partner who is also very good. Again it is the confidence issue. You feel real good when I take the animals there. He has done two knee surgeries on her and enhanced her life and she would not have been able to move and then I would have to put her to sleep. That is not so. The staff and all that are real nice.
