BALDY VIEW ANIMAL HOSPITAL

We have 2 new pets that are specialized pets that we love so much. I highly recommend them. I don't know why they say hospital because it's a vet, but I guess they give that service. WE moved him in 1983 and we had cats at that time too, and we have been going to them ever since. The main owner, I believe, is Roger Levoy DVM and he is just great. They are healthy cats. We had a bunny before them and I went for an emergency and they could not get me in because they were booked. They sent me to another place in another town and just for an exam it was way too much money. I knew I would not go back there if I could help it. Even my vet said "ew, they charge that much", so he is very reasonable and he doesn't over sell. Who knows what they do with their prices as time goes on.

I would rate Baldy View Animal Hospital excellent except for wait time. They are good with their pricing and quality of service. I would recommend them to other members.

Dr. LeVoy has been great previously, but after today, I'll never go again. I dropped my girl off at 8am, properly fasted since 10pm the night before as instructed. When I called at 12:15, I was told the person who comes in and does the procedure had his car break down and was on his way. By 3:30pm, still no show with whomever comes in to do these; she was still waiting, hungry and thirsty, and they never took her outside all day long! The real clincher was Dr. Levoy tossing his hands up in the air, turning his back to me and storming off when I said I found it unacceptable to put her through that and that they should have an alternate plan for such occurrences, and that was taking her home. Completely unprofessional and if he's such a hot-head, I don't want him anywhere near my pets!!

He could be better with time management, but that is also his strength. He is very personalized. He spends time with everybody which is why he runs late. I saw rave reviews on Angie’s List. I remember that I needed to call and ask a question and was not able to leave a message or anything. That was not a very effective communication practice outside of an appointment.

I was in a panic because my 11 1/2 year old dog began having concerning symptoms over the weekend and I've just moved to the area. This vet office got me in Monday evening and I was so relieved to get an appointment that quickly. The reviews of this vet are fabulous here, but what impressed me more was what I observed in the waiting room. Patients offered unsolicited raves about him there, too, were bringing him holiday gifts, clearly trusted him, etc. If you go, be aware that the waiting room is an open forum, no separating opportunity, with a resident cat who roams. So with two large dogs and a waiting room full of direct access with other pets, it was too much and I had to leave one dog in the car until things cleared out. I also wasn't seen until an hour after my scheduled appointment, but Dr. LeVoy is worth it. I've never had a vet be so relationship-oriented with me and my dogs. Kind of funny, it was also my first day on the new job that brought me here, so with the move, the concern for my dog, the new job day, etc., by the end of the appointment I sort of had a little meltdown in his office and I think I unnerved him a bit! But he was very caring and concerned and really sweet about it, which said a lot. And by the way, he didn't know what Angie's List was, had never heard of it, but was appreciative of my description and education to know what it says about him.

We have been taking our pets to this vet for over 10 years. Dr. LeVoy, in our opinion, is a very good vet. He has been caring for our cats, dogs, and birds over the years. I certainly won't trust anyone else with my elderly pets! His prices aren't cheap, but I think they are reasonable for vet care. He spends a lot of time with each patient and as a result, he gets behind schedule, so be prepared to wait. He will spend a lot of time with you and your pet as well. Bring a book and some patience--it's worth the wait!

The vet, Levoy, took care of my dogs. They are very caring and knowledgeable. Very interested in how your pet can be helped and also in your relationship with your pet. Their prices seem high, but I guess they are reasonable. I would use them again in the future.

The vet at this clinic is just wonderful. He helped me get through the process of putting my two cats to sleep as they were ill of old age. He has been helpful with other pets we have as well as my daughter s hamster that had cancer. He was so thorough in his work that he wanted to do an autopsy. We do love going there and love the professionalism of the doctor and the staff.

THE STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARE NOT THE CHEAPEST, BUT THE QUALITY IS GOOD. I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEIR SERVICE AND WILL TELL OTHERS TO GIVE THEM A TRY.
