+ 0 moreI am very pleased. As mentioned above, I have used this service for several years. The care process takes place automatically on days specified. No reminders are necessary. Unless requested by me, they have never missed a visit. HC keeps track of all service visits and of all reports (of which I am emailed copies). Prices are very reasonable. As usual, they were organized and punctual in visits and with returning calls. Especially regarding any special needs or concerns, i.e., when I needed the house prepared for a guest, and to check after a huge windstorm last week. I didn't even know there was a storm. They automatically check after storms, anyway. I also mentioned, I like that they were available to meet other service staff when I can't. Just last weekend they made special notes regarding particular trees/plants that may need extra attention from the gardener and the condition of the pool after the windstorm. They could have simply noted this on the list, but knowing my special love of plants a call was made to me, personally. This was much appreciated. Fortunately, I was able to address these points with the appropriate staff. However, had I not been able to be present, HC would have made sure to do it for me. They truly leave me with peace of mind.
Description of Work: Home-Checker is simply the best! You don’t need to look any further. This is the service you want! I was excited to learn that Home-Checker has now made themselves available to a wider public. I have used their services for the last three years since the acquisition of our lovely vacation home in La Quinta. They are most thorough, and meticulous. The owners (Diana and Tina) are pleasant and delightful. Quite often, I return to find our home in even better care and shape than when I left it. Nothing is overlooked. Mail is in, no papers or flyers in the driveway. All is addressed from the smallest detail of tossing out spoiled milk left in the fridge to sprucing up for a welcome visitor. On occasion, I’ve used their services to meet with other property staff, such as the gardener or handy man. The reports are sent by e-mail. Particularly impressive is a Concierge Service they provided. An out of town guest recently stayed at our home. I was not available to make sure everything was ready prior to their arrival. In a moment’s notice, Home-Checker had my house in perfect “guest order ” tending to the guest’s general needs and to the littlest and most special detail of providing a “Gift Basket.” This was all done with a cheery and amicable attitude accomplishing what I could not do in person. The result was a very happy and welcome guest. Home-Checker truly lived up to their reputation of going above and beyond expectations. I can’t state enough how pleased I am with the services Home-Checker provides. I have and continue to trust them. With Home-Checker to care for our home while we’re away, I am worry free! Home Checker offers the following services: We do a weekly home check that includes: exterior and interior temperature, checking landscaping, pool and spa, pest infestation, flooding, water intrusion, vandalism. We run appliances, flush toilets, run water in all sinks, tubs and showers. We check to make sure your refrigerator is cooling properly. We check the garage and water heater. We remove flyers and newspapers and bring in your mail so your home looks occupied. We also offer concierge services such as grocery shopping.
