I was frankly amazed by the degree of professionalism. I've been a construction worker and painting in particular can attract a rough crowd. Patrick was so serious about his level of detail, and required the same of his workers. He wanted everything perfect. Whatever prep was required, he had his crew do it without even asking me. He asked me lots of questions about how I wanted things, but when there was the chance to cut even the slightest corner, he just went ahead and did it the careful way. When it came time to paint a wrought iron gate with a colored panel, which was tricky, he took the entire gate apart, painted the colors separately and then reassembled the gate. Everything looks amazing, and the reproduction windows have the special paint seal they need to last.
