VCA Grossmont Animal Hospital

I particularly like the one vet that I go to there. I think they are terribly expensive. I always know that I don't get out with under two hundred dollars. Sometimes its just shots and examinations and stuff. Maybe some flea medicine. I think they are expensive, but the care is good. Its a good clinic. I never had any real issue, except the call of the patient. They have always been accommodating.. Never any emergency so. Never had any problems about waiting. Maybe ten minutes, or something, not bad at all. Never been bother with the wait. I like their assistance, and the clerk is always polite, and helpful.

My dog somehow managed to bite her tongue. She went to the emergency room for it, where the vet there suggested a follow-up with my usual vet clinic to see if there was an underlying cause such as a seizure. I saw Dr. Mellien at the VCA Grossmont animal clinic for the follow-up. The examination went fine, blood was drawn, and Dr. Mellien left a detailed phone message with the results a couple of days later. Everything was done in a professional and timely manner.
I've been going to this vet office for nearly 20 years, so obviously I'm happy with it. If I have any complaints, it is that sometimes filling medications at the front desk takes longer than it should.

We find Dr. Perry to be very caring and an outstanding doctor. She is always very professional and speaks in wording the average person can understand. She is always willing to take the time to talk and answer any questions, she doesn't make you feel rushed. I would not hesitate to recommend her at all, she has done a great job. We are very pleased with all the office staff and vet techs, everyone is always very polite and professional. They also love animals and it shows! There is also another VCA doctor I would recommend in their Bonita office, Dr. Gibson. We've used him a few times when Dr. Perry hasn't been available, he is also very good.

VCA Grossmont Animal Hospital is fairly priced. We have faith in the doctors there and they seem to really like animals and they also give you a lot of different options in terms of treatment , they will guide you on how to do treatments and testing if you don't want to go the expensive way.

It's easy to get an appointment with them, and I have only had to wait there for a little bit. I find some of the vets are wonderful and some are just ok. I really like Dr. Perry. Their prices are in line with most other vets.
