Highly recommend MJ ELECTRIC. Roque came to our house. We explained to him what we wanted. He gave us the options. Work started when we requested. Mario and Michael came out and were very knowledgeable, professional and respected our home. The kitchen wiring upgrade was completed in 3 days. The County came out and the inspection passed with flying colors. Great company, super employees.

I cam home from a business trip to find half of the lights in the house not working and the A/C not working. Within 24 hours, MJ Electric had every problem resolved and everything working again. I cannot say enough good things about the service, courtesy, professionalism and service.

I was not satisfied with the price charged for the work done. The work was adequate, but the charges were well beyond what was expected. This was a lesson learned and don't recommend this company to anyone.

All projects were completely quickly with no problems afterward. The technicians were knowledgeable, organized, and patient. They assisted me with connecting my smart phone with the video doorbell and ensured that it was working before they left. My ceiling was much higher than expected. A phone call to Roque Jaime, the owner, resulted in a taller ladder being delivered by Roque within 30 minutes. I selected MJ Electric's quote because out of the many calls I made Roque Jaime was the only electrician that understood and explained my options for installing the video doorbell. I'm very pleased with the work they did for me.

Roque of MJ Electric came to my house to assess the situation and to make sure that I had a the right circuit to power the new Panasonic fan, heater, light combo. He then put me on the calendar for the following week. His quote was for the Panasonic unit and the install...I knew exactly what I would be paying. The window for his crew to arrive was between 12:00 and 12:15 and they came at 11:56...awesome!!! They set up their work area like a clean room...top notch. They were super polite and knowledgeable. Roque also arranged for another person to come and fill in the ceiling gap left by the smaller unit...so cool!! I would definitely use MJ Electric in the future and would definitely recommend them.

This occurred on the Friday preceding Christmas week, with family expected. Other contractors were unavailable until the following Monday. Mr. Jaime came out early that same afternoon, however, quickly disagnosed the problem, and explained what he was doing throughout the procedure, in which he replaced the outlet and did some modernizing of the outlet's wiring.. I was very impressed with his skill, his availability, and his pricing. I would definitely hire again when the need arises.

EXCELLENT. Roque and Michael (bus partner) are both extremely efficient, professional, articulate, present and ready and available to do whatever job you need. Roque scheduled as early as possible to ensure he had plenty of time to do the job well. Michael was the one that did the work I needed..found the issue immediately..replaced BUT they also took the time to diagnose the rest of my lines so if they do ever come back they have history on my electrical lines so they dont waste my time trying to re create the wheel of diagnosing and can get to deeper issues that could arise. Not that they will just saying the lines are behind walls so the simple fix was made for my issue but there is always a chance it could be behind the walls..so he prepared himsefl should I need them to come back to get to business. Very impressed. Easy to pay..they send you an electronic bill, pay by credit card. Definitely recommend. Before MJ I called numerous other electricans (found on yelp or google)..MJ was only one that didnt fill me with excuses, deflections and down right "creepy" where I would not hire the others due to didnt trust them. MJ was extremely professional and saved his name/number to be my electrican of choice for any futher needs on my home.

Roque and his crew were fantastic! They were super friendly, confidence inspiring, skilled, and efficient. Scheduling the estimate and project dates was easy. Roque was up front about what kind of work it would take to complete what we needed. As is ALWAYS the case in older condos, they encountered a minor issue in the wiring that needed to be brought up to code. Roque showed it to us, explained it, and told us the cost of it so we could easily understand what was going on. I also want to mention that I already knew that they’d have to open up walls and ceiling, and that I’d have to patch that up. Roque gave me a recommendation for someone to do that, but I had already decided to do it myself to save some money. I was THRILLED when they were finished to see that they had replaced the chunks of drywall in a way that made it very easy for me to do the patching myself. I can’t express how appreciative I was for that!! I would definitely hire Roque and MJ Electric again, and I highly recommend them for their skill and efficiency, as well as the care they take in making a project like this go as smoothly as possible!
