LEONARD BROTHERS FINE WOOD FLOORS

The quality was great.  The price was competitive.  I took them on a recommendation and I was very pleased.

They wanted to replace instead of repair the flooring. They offered to do the repair, but never got around to it.

Greg Leonard came within a day of our call to bid the job. he was extremely careful in evaluating the potential for slab moisture, pulling up carpet in several areas, unlike the previous vendor that bid the job. He based his recommendation on what he SAW not the worst case imaginable and thus came in with a more reasonable bid. We hoped to have the job done as soon as possible, and they delivered on this wish- they had an opening a week sooner than expected. Brad Leonard did the installation with Billy and they couldn't have been better to work with- punctual, clean, quiet, polite, and did just beautiful work. The floor looks beautiful- better than I imagined. In fact, the experience was so positive, we are now considering doing another room not previously in our plan because the outcome of the work done was so good. Thank you Leonard Brothers and Billy!

Extremely well. We chose Leonard Brothers because they had repaired and refinished a small patch of floor for us six years ago and had done a great job. Greg L. measured and submitted a bid based on 600 square feet of floor. That was within our range, and agreed to a date. Brad L. and Billy started promptly on Monday, and did two sandings, vacuumed and applied a sealer coat. Repairs and a light sanding and another coat of finish were done on the next day. The last coat was done after a screening and vacuuming, and all doors were rehung. They installed a new sliding glass door threshold transition. These guys have been in this business for years: Brad told me quite a bit about the history of the wood in our floor which was quite interesting (It is a 'Victory' blend of oak, milled during or just after WWII. Sure enough one of the bad boards pulled up had "Victory" stamped on the back). The repairs were made in addition to the bid, and were done at a very fair price. These guys take great pride in their work and were a pleasure to have working in our house.

They were very accommodating with the schedule. Easy to work with. I would recommend them.
