+ -1 moreWe've just gotten everything put in the storage area. It is clean and well maintained and very secure. It will be a short while before we are done with the work in the house. So far everything is very good. The charge is $125 a month. I haven't used a storage facility before, but A-1 Self Storage seems very well run.
Description of Work: Needed a small storage unit to make room for painting and new carpet installation.

+ -1 moreThe storages facility is gated and requires codes and keys. The front office is open during the day should you need assistance. A little pricer than many storage facilities in the area but also much cleaner and more secure.

+ -1 moreThe service went very very well. I wasn't personally involved in it but we were making the arrangements from San Antonio for our family there because our father was dying. They did exactly what they said they would do and the manager was very helpful. I would say they get a very good grade all the way out.

+ -1 moreWe were in the process of moving into a slightly smaller house so we had an abundance of furniture with nowhere to put it. While we were figuring out what we were going to do with all of it we decided to get a until at A-1 storage. The facility was very clean and well lite, if you are planning on going there during the night. The staff was always friendly and helpful and parking is always a breeze.

Description of Work: We stored all of our furniture and goods for an out of state move. The service was great. Easy to talk to, always cooperative and it's a big enough facility that there is always a unit available. There is a lift for second floor storage, units are clean and maintenance ongoing. We felt assured there would be no thefts as they are very protective of client's privacy. The price was below other facilities and they had on line deals. We had 3 units so I don't remember what we paid but I researched and know they charge below market. Very nice people and very helpful...and they are right down the street from U-HAUL which was great for our circumstances.

Description of Work: Storage of household goods. On several occasions I have used A-1 Self-Storage on Spring Street in La Mesa. The facility is well maintained, the staff is helpful and professional, they have great storage access hours, and the price is reasonable.
