BADLY. Klatt rented a place to me that was contaminated by raw feces. The condition needed professional remediation due to the presence of asbestos, and later excessive lead was also found by the city inspector. Klatt told me he would not provide a hotel for us to be away from the hazardous material abatement, so we were locked up in one room with a bath, accessible by a porch window. The contractor made a mistake and contaminated all of my belongings and hazardous dust leaked beyond the containment. After Klatt and his subsequent contractors lied about the property being cleared so he could pocket the HAZMAT money and insurance claim money filed in the name of the incapacitated dying property owner, I was trapped in a construction zone for a year and a half, so Klatt could also collect "lost rent claims from the dying elder's insurance. All my belongings in the garage were contaminated, and I was lied to about the clearance of toxic substances that would certainly cause me and my daughter harm, after I became concerned about the testing methods which revealed the lead and asbestos were still present and the city also issued a violation against Klatt. I was deemed a vexatious litigant by a corrupt judge who was apparently bought, after I sued Klatt to abate the nuisances, and Klatt never complied with a court order to test my belongings; since he had contractors lie in previous tests, I wished to pick a neutral provider but he would not agree. His agent, Steven Bert Franke, threatened to kill me, resulting in the issuance of a restraining order, and tried to run me over 1/3/2013. Klatt has corrupt judges supporting his elder abuse and homicidal agenda: The Court of Appeal, Ronald Prager, Timothy Taylor, Linda Birkmeyer, and Lisa Schall. As a result of their corruption, attempted murderer felon Klatt Realty Agent, Steven Franke, is loose and free to practice real estate in La Jolla, along with Klatt who touts a phony degree mill PhD. to entice elders to trust him so he can rip them off. I witnessed Franke billing for services never performed and materials never purchased, engaged in contracting work over 500 dollars each without a contractors license, and performing inferior damaging work, and Klatt lying to the CSLB about his hiring Franke to perform contracting jobs for which he is not licensed. Steer clear of these thugs. I live in fear for my life to this day. They even resorted to stalking me at a local yoga studio about a year ago, to try to entrap me into stalking charges. Klatt is blind due to drunk driving. He is no hero, just a drunk criminal and con artist who uses his disability to entice unsuspecting people to trust him and his felon. They are thieves at best, wanna be murderers at worst. I was left with more than 17K court costs, cancer and inextrcable flare of Crohn's disease which disabled me as a result of my struggles and fear of these miscreants.
