I have been seeing her for about 7 years. She is very thorough with her skin cancer screening. She is very diligent in making sure to make sure every square inch of your body. She is very personable and I cannot speak highly enough of her. She is very bright and is a specialist in Moh's surgery. She has a very pleasant staff and they are responsive to your needs. Everyone is very kind and caring. The nurses are excellent and very knowledgeable in thier field. She is a very popular doctor so it may be fairly difficult to schedule with her. I schedule ahead of time so I have never had any issues with scheduling.

I really liked the doctor, she is very attentive, knowledgeabe and careful while performing mole removal procedures. I can't say the same about the front desk staff. Because I got lost on my way to the office and was a little late, they made me wait 45 minutes while letting other patiants in well in advance of their appointments. Their attitude was insulting.

She's very thorough, in the sense of whatever you're going in to see her for, about asking questions and understanding the problem or identifying problems. She's very professional. She's knowledgeable about her field of dermatology and skin, whether it's skin rashes, skin diseases, skin ailments, and treatment for them. She knows her stuff and she is willing to work with you to figure out how to resolve any skin problems and what you need to do to resolve it.

I got there a bit early, filled out paperwork and waited only about 5 minutes. Great friendly staff and the doctor and nurse were great.

Dr. Sherry Rotunda is in a very nice complex with a lot of other Dermatologists.  However, I was glad I chose her.  Her staff were very friendly and made me feel at ease.  Dr. Rotunda did a full body scan and found a couple of moles which she removed - a totally painless experience by the way.  She was very concerned that my blood pressure was very high and suggested I go back to my family doctor to have it checked out which I did.
I got the results from the Pathology Department a few days later - it turned out one of the moles she removed, which I thought was a tiny freckle, was what they described as 'atypical' (in other words it could end up being malignant).  So what you don't know can sometimes hurt you!  I asked her about it and she said that you can have 'flat moles' that look like freckles.
So anyone reading this, especially it you're light skinned - go and make an appointment to have a skin scan.  It could save your life.

When you explain your problems and what you think you would need, she tells you what you can use - some nice drugstore branded creams. For women, she's very good about calcium even though it's really not a skin thing necessarily. She asked me what kind of sunscreen I use and gave me tips. She's just really straightforward and does a good job without trying to sell you extra stuff.

My wife has been seeing Dr. Rotunda in her Encinitas office as well as her Oceanside office for at least 3 years, maybe longer. There are several doctors in the office and the waiting room is generally busy, but her staff takes you into the office right away. If the doctor is running late (she spends time with her patients), the physician's assistant will keep you posted. This is okay because you want her to spend time explaining the procedures, etc. to you, too. She is a very conservative dermatologist and asks you lots of questions about the spots, moles, etc. on your body as she does the examination. She is very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone, young or old.

I was totally pleased with her. She is very, very warm and friendly. She is very professional in terms of explaining absolutely everything. Her procedure was flawless. I had a large cancer removed from my nose and the scar is hardly visible. I was just totally impressed. At the same time she let my husband be in the surgery room. It wasn’t a cold sterile kind of thing which would make me more nervous or scared. She was willing to discuss everything with me. There is a 10 minute wait when I go to see her, sometimes it is less. I would recommend her in every regard. She is primarily a dermatologist and an expertise in reconstruction. The staff remembers my name. They are very, very warm and very professional at the same time. The staff is wonderful. I never felt like just a member going in there.  The office manager is wonderful. They were very thorough and very good. I didn’t have to wait too long to see her. She is very, very thorough in keeping track. I found her through a recommendation of my primary care physician. I would absolutely use her again in the future.

Dr. Kaplan is so sweet.  He told me he was not one of the physicians who voted to drop BC/BS and he offerred to give me referrels of other dermatologists who he considered to be good who took my coverage.  I highly recommend him as a physician.  He is competent, honest and forthright.   The practice does take other insurances.   Before booking an appointment, make sure your insurance is taken, if that matters to you.  I will be back to see Dr. Kaplan in a flash, if the practice decides to take my insurance coverage again.

Dr. Koperski is an outstanding doctor, and she has a great touch. She does all the minor surgeries in her office. She is a wonderful person. Our primary care physician referred us to Dr. Koperski, and we feel that she only takes new patients through referrals. She is great, and we will continue using her again in the future.

He gave me a quick diagnosis of my problem and removed skin cancer immediately. He gave me cream to treat it. He was very efficient and also very nice. It did take a while to get an appointment with him, though.
