Had problems with car - dealership had it 2 1/2 months and could not find problem - took it to somebody else they had it 2 months - neighbor recommended B = D Automotive. He found the problems fast ad its running like new. Doug is very honest - very fair priced + good person.

Have done business with this company for over 15 years. This "speaks" for itself.

I have been bringing my vehicles to B&D Automotive for several years. Lately I had been hearing a noise coming from my undercarraige and intended to ask about it on my next visit. On Tuesday I brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change and forgot to ask about the noise. However, when the work was completed, the mechanic who drove my vehicle out mentioned the noise to me. He said it was simply a loose brake pad, but nothing that jeopardized the safe operation of my vehicle or required any attention on my part. This exactly exemplifies the level of knowledge, service, and professionalism I always receive at this establishment. Most importantly to me, however, is that they have always provided honest and ethical service. I completely trust them and their work.

Doug gave us detailed information so that we could make a decision. He didn't want to take the $40 we gave him, but we insisted. He runs an honest business & we have been bringing our cars for service for over 10 yrs.

Bought used zode car from private owner took car to get oil changed and that automotive place was charging me 200+ more for services. I've been will B & D for over 20's completely trust them, their very honest and have always done very good/great I moved to Nevada, I drive to Cali to have my car serv A++

I was about to replace the battery myself, but decided to let my mechanic do it. The battery was fine. The alternator was bad. They COULD have dinged me for both (and a new belt), but these mechanics are honest as well as expert. The belt was also fine, thus did not need replacement.
History: these mechanics were recommended to me by my car guy a few years ago. At that time, there was a shimmy in the front end of one of my cars. I took it to another highly talented mechanic after my tire guy couldn't find anything wrong with the tires. He couldn't find anything wrong either. I took it finally to B&D. Brian (one of the mechanics at this shop) personally ran his hand over the tires after putting it up on a lift. He wasn't sure, but thought there was some internal tread separation inside one tire. New tires totally solved the problem.
I have taken all my cars to these guys ever since. They are not the cheapest, but I've learned over a lifetime to avoid the low bid and to pay for high quality service. It's actually cheaper in the long run. This brings up my next point. On a different occasion, Brian told me I could wait another 10,000 miles until my car reached 100,000 miles before replacing the spark plugs (very expensive job). As with the alternator, they are honest and don't take advantage of people.
Doug, the other mechanic, was able to both figure out and repair an obscure water leak in my old 4Runner. These two mechanics  have advanced creative problem-solving skills. That's a rare quality and a key skill needed to repair today's highly complicated vehicles. 
On another vehicle, Doug replaced the tiny light bulbs inside the radio buttons of an old Lexus I recently sold. The bulbs were tiny. Doug got the job done. It wasn't cheap, but this shows that Doug has very talented hands and fine motor skills. Impressive.

I thought Brian and Doug were terrific. These guys are fair, honest and you immediately feel comfortable with them. The electrical work that they did on my window and seat would have cost a fortune at the dealer. They even arranged to have my smog test done at at shop around the corner (they don't do this work themselves.) I was really impressed with them and will definitely make them my regular mechanics. Thanks guys!

I have taken my car to Band D before. I find them to be good mechanics who will give you an honest appraisal on repair costs. They are not the cheapest in our area, but I have confidence in what they say and do. I have never had to return to the repair shop because of faulty workmanship.

Doug & Brian, is very honesty, he doesn't do work on your vehicle that is not needed. Prices are very good and he does a good job repairing your vehicle.

It worked out fine. It was perfect.

They ordered the part and got it in the car within the same day I took it there. It was very quick. It was a much better price and experience then the dealership.

Brian and Doug are stand-up guys. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, they take a conservative approach and don't try to "upcharge" on unnecessary repairs.
I've taken my car to them twice and my girlfriend's once and each time was really smooth. They even picked up on little things that were wrong that they fixed at no additional charge (backup light bulb out)
They are extremely repsonsive and turn-around repairs when promised. When I had my struts done, I dropped in on them at lunch and they had it done about an hour before closing on a Friday.
These guys really want to be your regular mechanic.

I was satisified with service and price

I was told on a lube service that my transmission needed servicing (at a high price). I declined and took it to Band D for an inspection of the transmission. After making an appointment for that same day, the garage called back and said they did not have enough transmission fluid for a change of transmission oil. I rescheduled the next day. Took the car in had it checked and they said nothing was wrong and I could drive it another 2000 miles before changing the transmission oil. I was about to leave for a 1000 mile trip. They said I could change the oil or wait until I returned. I had the oil changed. It took about 30 minutes. I liked their honesty and professional manner.

B and D Automotive, are pretty friendly, knowledgeable, real fair, and real honest.
They take kind of a conservative approach to the problems, so it doesn't get too expensive.
They have also done air conditioning service, and stuff on my 2 vehicles.

It's hard to find an auto mechanic and these guys are beyond good. These people are amazing. Our whole family has six cars and we all take the cars to them. They are scrupulously honest and they charge you exactly for whatever you pay for. They don't insulate any other charges. The service is unbelievable. I took an old tire to them and they disposed that for free. It's these small things that add up. They are very courteous and they've been there for the customers. If you want them to come in early they will come in early and get your car for you which they did for me yesterday. We found them a couple of years ago and we are very happy.
