Ace Kitchen and Bath

Went okay. C+/B-. The overall quality was not there. Work was rushed. I appreciate wanting to stay on schedule but not at expense of quality/ details. Shower supposed to include bench but they forgot and already started tiling. They offered to start over but I declined. Work order called for recessed lighting in master bath but apparently no room in ceiling. Many of fixtures are loose. I’ve had to reinstall 2 (shower bar + toilet paper holder). Couple handles on kitchen/ bath drawers loose/ fall-off. Had to have workers return couple months after to fix pipe leak under kitchen sink. Did good job and was prompt. Had to have worker/s return 12-months later to fix laminate floor where it is separating. Was again fairly prompt in sending somebody and they did improve/ minimize gaps in floor (uses rubber mallet to pound pieces together / toward each other). Was also supposed to fix chipped tile in master bathroom floor but apparently this cannot be replaced due to located adjacent to vanity. Agree location tricky but possible to cut other / adjacent tile(s). Was also supposed to address splash guard along bottom of shower door. This has almost completely come off and guard is trapping water and showing milder. Biggest concern has been window in master bath shower. Grout was done poorly and is/ was cracking. Had worker return to fix and was left in MUCH WORSE condition. At this point we gave up on Sam (ISam) and ACE. My wife patched the grout and it looks better than most of the work around the window. Positive: Floor looks 99% great and stairs especially. Price seems fair/ competitive. Quality and attention to detail are severely lacking.
