The tech was very polite. He sprayed the exterior of my house. Told me to call back if the ants returned. They did come back in one room. I called the office and they sent him back almost immediately. Problem seems to be solved.

We had a CRAZY pincher bug infestation! they had to come 3-4 times but only charged us for 1 more through no fault of the company in our area everyone was having issues and spraying- we are finally doing great maybe see one every 2 weeks! We chose to do a bi-monthly contract very affordable!

I called them on a Saturday morning spoke to Edie and within a couple of hours Geovanni came out of his way to help. He set traps, in my car and gave me great advice. The next day all the traps solved the problem. He even asked me to send him a message the next day, Sunday, to let him know if my problem was solved. I would recommend their excellent customer service, both in office receptionist and service technician.

Purchased a deal for termite inspection and had assessment done by Sergio. Very profressional and friendly. Made appointment for treatment of infected areas a week later. There was a communication issue and integrity question with a different rep from the company but Sergio came back out and made everything right and then some by handling what was mishandled prior and redid the work just to ensure it was prooperly done. He and the other rep, Jesus, went above and beyond by removing debris from under the house without complaint.

I'm sorry but this was a little bit ago. A raccoon made a nest under our house and after it left with its family. It left behind a gift of flees and ants. We have used Hydrex before at our rental house and was very happy with the experience. The technician was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The ants were take care of that day, but due to the flee eggs he warned us that we would probably call him to do another spraying a few weeks later. We called him and he was able to come out the next day and that was the end to our flee issue.
I am very impressed with their service that I have them regularly spray at the rental house and I will have them out periodically at my home to take care of any issues.

Products are very effective and not harmful for pets or us. David is friendly and the whole process is trouble free. The ants population is dramatically decreased and we hear a lot less cricket sound. We also sign up for the maintenance plan so that they can come every other month or when we need some extra work.

We had our house fumigated by Hydrex. They were very professional. They thoughly inspected our property and gave us an estimate for the work needed. Scheduling was easy, and they were very helpful and provided bags for us to store our food. I would definitely recommend them!

I found Hydrex on Angie's list. They had good reviews and were close to my house. From my first call I felt really good about the decision. Kiki the woman who answers the phone is so helpful and friendly. My initial call was about gopher holes in my yard. She said that my area has been having lots of gopher problems and was able to send someone out that same day. I was not home when he came but found out the next day that I had likely one gopher living in my yard. They set some traps and left them in the ground over the weekend. On Monday, August 5 I found that ants had located our kitchen garbage and kind of freaked out as we were heading out of town and had friends watching the house. I called Kiki around 1pm and she said she would do her best to get someone out to my house later that day. The same technician who set the traps came out - I think his name was Mike - can around 4:45pm. He pulled up the gopher traps and one of which had nabbed the culprit. He then gave me a quote for a one time spray treatment for ants outside the house. We agreed to the quote and he treated the exterior of the house.
It's been a week and there is no more sign of gopher digging and ants are at bay.
Start to finish this was a great experience and I would definitely use them again.

Charlie called a few hours prior to the scheduled time, to inform us he was running late due to another job. He gave us an approximate time of arrival, which was right on. He and his co-worker Sam were fast, efficient, tidy and very polite. They finished in approximately 1 1/2 hrs. We were very pleased with their work and will use them again as needed. The termites are gone! No more swarms.

Called Hydrex at approx. 9:00 a.m. about coming out to give an estimate on the removal of a wasp nest on the side of our garage under the eaves. They said there was no charge for the estimate and that someone could come that morning. Dave showed up approximately 15 minutes later. There was another smaller nest in another spot under the eaves of the garage that he found that we hadn't seen before! Dave said he could perform the job then and was able to spray both nests; the smaller one came down and was removed and the larger nest is now much smaller and we will be able to take a broomstick and knock down the small amount that remains. He was very professional and friendly and observant! We would definitely use Hydrex again if the need arises and love the fact that they are local. Another company we called quoted that their services would start at $150.00 without even seeing the nest first.

The experience has been pretty good; they come every other month to spray for bugs. Their product is pretty good; I don't have a problem with Black Widows or anything. I used to have major problems with cockroaches and ants but I don't now. They call prior to coming and leave a bill when they leave. I am very happy with their service and will use them again in the future.

If we didn't like working with them, they wouldn't have come out. The gentleman that we interacted with was very courteous, very polite and we appreciated that. He was very helpful. The quality appears to be very well because we don't have to worry about spiders and things other than ants that we were having an issue with. They have been coming on a regular basis and they seemed to be very responsive.

We researched several pest control companies before deciding to go with Hydrex to help us with a rat problem in our attic. In October on 2009, they came out and trapped several rats and also sealed/patched any holes they were coming through. The price was somewhat high but we felt good about supporting a local company. The work they did was average. They delivered what they said they would, nothing more, nothing less. The service came with 30 day guarantee, meaning they would come back to catch additional rats up to 30 days after the service was completed. We called on the 28th day after hearing noises upstairs and they argued with us about the initial date of service. It was only after I provided the receipt (apparently they don't have their own records?) that they agreed we were within the warranty period and sent someone out. After that somewhat minor hiccup, all was well until this last month (April 2011) when we got a new roof. The roofers removed a lot of the patch work that had been done by Hydrex in 2009 and we needed to have it redone. We called Hydrex back to get a quote for patch work. We were told the technician would be here between 8am and 12pm. We waited and waited and at 12:45 the technician came to the door and apologized for being late but said he still needed some time. Apparently, he had been sitting in his truck outside our house on the phone for quite some time. After that, he returned to his car and remained on the phone in front of our house for another 30 minutes. Not cool. He finally came to provide our estimate at 1:15, 75 minutes after the end of the 4 hour window. So, after the issues with the warranty in 2009 and this late technician today, I think we'll be going with another (hopefully more professional) company.

"We don't schedule inspections in 4 hour windows, they are by appointment only. The scheduled time for this address was 12 PM (not 8-12) and yes the tech was late. Of course, the Member already knows that he was late because he had been in a car accident earlier (not his fault) and was on the phone to insurance and CHP. She was told this at the time. It is an extenuating circumstance that the Member of course left out of the report. Anyway, the office and the tech both apologized to her at the time. It shouldn't have happened but there was nothing to do about it at the time. As to the October 2099 work comments, there is ZERO basis for any complaint ! First, the Member was not even the actual customer for the property in 2009. The contract is signed by the occupant of the home. This Member is now here complaining about "issues with the warranty in 2009" but the contract itself doesn't support the claims. Member has the price wrong, date wrong and warranty wrong in this report. We have the original signed contract on file in the office. Here are the particulars: The job had a interior warranty of 3 trapchecks/ followups to be within a 2 week period. Customer called on 28th day and yes they did receive FREE work. We are too nice :) The exterior warranty was for three months. There is no mention of 30 days anywhere in the contract. The job cost was $425 not $700. As they had no further issues, it was a good job. Lastly, the contract was signed 11 days after the Member's listed completion date of October 15. The work was actually done on Halloween:) Lack of knowledge of the work date is indicative that either the Member doesn't have the contract or is mistakenly refering to a competitor's paperwork for the same job. For all we know, she could be getting this "information" verbally from someone else. Either way the Member should have checked the contract before posting a negative. Really. The original signed copy is on file in our office and the Member is more than welcome to request a copy."

We weren?t particularly impressed with them. It was also very hard to kill that bug and they weren?t able to take care of the problem. They didn?t seem to know as to how to properly test and the type of chemicals to be used. I also paid them the money. So I ended up using another company and that company took care of the problem. Hydrex Pest Control wasn?t able to help us. They didn?t know as to how to handle the problem appropriately. They called us to inform that they would be there between 10 and 1 on Wednesday, but they never showed up at all. They then showed up on Friday. They never called up and communicated about the change in day. There was no one around when they came out. We were initially impressed with them but there was nothing impressive about them after the initial visit. I felt that the price was reasonable.

"1649 Valley View: The issue was severe beetle infestation in a bamboo gazebo. In an effort to save the customer a potentially unnecessary $900 fumigation fee, local treatment was applied which included multiple follow-ups. The cost was $150 with $75 to be applied as a credit for fumigation if it appeared necessary. The customer also had additional termite work done on the home with a total end bill of $650 NOT $1600. We are so sorry they were unhappy with the work. Complaints are quite a rarity for our business here at Hydrex."
