Excellent work

Everything went well. Stefan is making himself available for any questions or issues related to the koi pond. 

Stefan and Antonio quickly responded to email I sent.  They came out within a couple of days, assessed the situation, and provided recommendations.  They repaired my pump, replaced filter, and got my dirty pond back into top shape.  I was so impressed that I hired them for bimonthly service.  My pond has never looked so good!  Highly recommend.

We just bought a house that came with a turtle pond (with three turtles) that was filthy and the water level was dropping fast. After another pond company charged me for an estimate and then blew me off I was desperate. I contacted six more companies and two got back to me right away, one of them being Koi Shui (pronounced like Feng Shui). Stefan from Koi Shui was very responsive via e-mail and he and Antonio came over the next day for a free estimate. They were friendly and spent time answering my questions. They seemed genuinely interested in their work and seemed to enjoy analyzing the pond, deducing why it was designed the way it was and why part of it was in disrepair. It was like archaeology.
Stefan located and showed me the leak pretty quickly but had me perform one more test that the previous company overlooked to rule out another possible source. He came up with a plan to get the pond back in shape in a way that minimized maintenance. He promptly sent me a detailed estimate which I approved. I chose Koi Shui over the other company that responded because it was just very obvious that Stefan is dedicated to customer service and his craft above and beyond the norm.
The next week he and Antonio came back and drained and cleaned the pond, taking care to move the turtles to a safe area and showing concern for them. They sealed the leak and another hole that may or may not have been a leak just in case with epoxy. We had to wait 24 hours for it to dry but they filled the pond as high as possible so the turtles could be safe from predators for the night.
Koi Shui moved our old, small pump to the second reservoir that had been totally still, got us a new, bigger pump with a UV light for the main reservoir to keep the water clear, and built the turtles a new basking platform. Stefan patiently showed me exactly how to take the filter apart and clean it. I had a ton of questions because I have no experience with ponds but he  and Antonio were very patient about answering all of them. Also, Antonio is an expert on pond plants and was able to advise me on that subject.
The previous company I dealt with was condescending about our pond and the way it was designed but Koi Shui took it on with a great attitude, like it was an interesting challenge to get it working again. I look forward to working with them on any of our future pond needs. I strongly recommend them for their extensive knowledge and great customer service.

This business is run by two young men.  Stefan was super helpful over the phone, answering all our questions, but not too pushy or eager to sell their service.
Antonio showed up on time, was very professional, cleaned up after the work was done, and overall exceeded our expectations.
