La Canada Mac

Jack spent a considerable amount of time working on my father's computer. My father is elderly and has the bad habit of installing software that is unreliable, leading to major system problems. Jack has helped us a couple of times now. He's honest, fair, reliable, competent, and gets the job done. He is now our go-to guy for all things Mac. I highly recommend him.

I contacted Jack by phone. He responded promptly. We set up an appointment to bring the computer into his shop. He had it ready by the end of the same day.

I called Jack Boutros, owner of La Canada Mac, when my MacBook Air failed to start properly. I bought it three years ago and never had a problem, but I had a feeling this might be serious. Jack set an appointment for me to drop it off in a half hour. His shop was easy to get to (just off Foothill Blvd) and he has a driveway in front that allows for conveniently close, free parking. His workplace was extremely neat and very professional and he explained that he had many years of experience repairing Mac's and was a heavy user of Apple products personally....always a good sign. I left the computer with Jack who said he would be in touch with me via email, text or phone as soon as he had a diagnosis and an estimate. He was extremely prompt and very responsive to all my communications. Sadly, my problem turned out to be a corrupted hard drive which could not be saved. Jack gave me an option to replace it with a larger capacity drive and I quickly agreed. I have my computer back now and its running as good as new. Jack also took the time, for no charge, to partition my new external hard drive, and showed me how to routinely back up my data, in the event another crisis ever occurs. In summary, I was very impressed and extremely pleased with the service I received. I not only got my computer repaired but learned a great deal about how to better utilize my computer and back up my data. I would definitely use Jack again for the other four Mac's in my family and would unconditionally recommend him to my friends and colleagues. If you live in the La Canada-La Crescenta-Tujunga area, this is the only place to go.
