GLEN-PACIFIC CARPETS

We had a number of quotes, but wanted to have a specific color (to match the existing trim color) for the shutters. This was the only company that seemed to offer this option. Also, they would remove and repaint our existing living room shutters.
We gave our deposit in mid-October, with a 4 to 6 week installation estimate, so we expected to have the work completed in time for the Christmas holidays. The living room shutters were not even picked up until mid-December.
When the installation day came in January, it was readily apparent that the corner pieces were not the right measurement, but the installer went ahead and put them in anyway. He seemed to be OK with the end result, but the shutters did not line up with our windows correctly, so we asked that the corner pieces be remade to the correct size. Also, when we originally ordered the shutters, we had asked for split controls so that the bottom half and top half could be set independently, for privacy reasons. They had not been made that way, so they were taken back to the shop.
In the end, the shutters were installed but quality control was an issue; the hinges do not line up with each other on some and different strength magnets were installed, some are fine but others are too strong and make it harder on the shutter when pulling it open.
A defective vane was noticed after the installation and replaced a few weeks later.
Overall, it was not an easy process. We had to initiate calls to find out about progress and scheduling. The owner of Glen Pacific is a very pleasant person, but seems not to be concerned enough regarding the quality of the product to even come and have a look, even though our concerns were made known to him.
The total time for the project was over 4 months. Their lack of communication was annoying, and in the end, we had to co-ordinate directly with the supplier to know what was happening.

Tony is a pleasure to work with, I wish we were able to have him do the kitchen and playroom, but our budget was drained due the remodel and he only did the kitchen.

Tony is extremely punctual, helpful, courteous, and absolutely goes out of his way to accommodate your needs. We were trying to replace old and damaged carpet to prepare our house to be put on the market. Tony came by soon after we spoke, took measurements, and then quickly came up with some estimates. He did not give us a hard sell or push us in any direction, but we ended up going with the pricier option. His team arrived on time was polite and professional and installed all of the carpet in one day. There was an issue with one closet door not being able to slide open fully because the new carpet was a bit thicker, but Tony offered up plenty of resources to have that taken care of. Ultimately we were very satisfied.

Tony at Glen-Pacific is extremely knowledgeable about carpet and is a true gentleman. He is always on time for appointments, always polite and professional. He can usually beat any other store's pricing (even the one's that claim they are the cheapest), and you will get much better service. If he thinks a carpet is wrong for a particular area in your house, he will let you know even if it means losing a sale. His installers are wonderful and won't say a job is finished unless it is perfect. You can trust Glen-Pacific to do a great job for a fair price.
