We have used Behr several times.  They do quality work and the job supervisor keeps close tabs on the project.  They may cost a little more, but we think it is worth it.

It went extremely well. They installed a custom window. They got everything right as far as specifications. Everything went as planned. They were very professional. I've worked with them before on a $45,000 job that involved a number of different subcontractors and they did excellent work as well. We were very pleased with their work. I have high standards and I would still highly recommend them.

First, the big remodel: it went superbly. Everything was on time, and according to our contract. THey are not cheap, their surcharge is 20% on top of what the subcontractors or materials cost. But they found excellent prices on total house paint, new driveway, etc. The work was excellent. The Behr rep (Kurt Knechtel in our case) was usually on site checking and solving problems. We did little in the way of changing our mind, but the few things we did promptly made it into the revised contract with agreed-upon prices. And they were done as agreed. We have nothing but praise for these guys.
As to the shower pan: it was a 1 week job, nd it was done perfectly and on time. Dont know how but they found the perfect matching tiles (our shower dates from the 1040s).

Amazing people did great work, they are on the higher side of pricing but do great work and are trustworthy, which I was very important to me.

Short review - you get what you pay for - they are a little more on the pricey side, but their work was great quality. We will enjoy our breakfast bar and new counters for years to come. My in-laws were admiring the perfect corners of the wall and the seemless soffet they created for the newly opened wall.
Long review - We worked with Jeff on the bidding process, originally asking for quotes on a bit more work (we had big visions when moving into our first house). Jeff was great - friendly, extremely knowledgeable. It took a while to receive the quote, but it was nicely prepared. All the projects were seperated and detailed so we could see how much each cost.
As far as the work, there were two times when an unforeseen circumstance increased the price of the quote - the gas line was in the wrong spot to hook up to the new range so it cost extra to move it, and we had to move AC vents. But compared to the horror stories you hear about remodeling work, I think 2 times was reasonable.
Matt was our project manager. He was nice but not the most prompt communicator. For example, when we needed the extra work done it took a while to get the actual pricing. We kept asking for a detailed schedule of the work to be done and never received it.
We had an issue with the counter supplier - we picked out the slab and the vendor sent a different slab to the fabricator. We found out when the fabricator was asking us where to make the cuts and explaining why the slab wouldn't work very well. Since I had taken pics of the slab we picked out, it was easy to show that the marble company that they switched it on us. The fabricator was awesome - he went with us to the supplier, stood up for us and argued with them. Anyway, Matt did a good job negotiating with them on this error and helping to get a discount on a new slab we picked out.
I would definitely work with Behr again in the future, and hope we get the opportunity to do so. Particularly if it were a larger job, I would be a lot more forceful to get a schedule of work. Our project did end up taking a bit longer than we thought it would - partially because of the slab issue

They did A+ work in all regards. They were very easy to work with and very responsive. They did quality work and we were very happy with them.

The fact that I use them repeatedly says it all: they are very good at what they do and are worth the extra money that you pay for their quality.
They are very clean, on-time, and responsive to the customer. They offer intelligent advice on design. They will come back to a job six, nine months after a job is and quot;doneand quot; to make sure that things are right.
I always get other estimates on my projects, but I keep coming back to Behr because I now trust them to do an excellent job.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

It went great. Finished almost on time. Only delayed due to picking out flooring we wanted and the need to order it. It was only a few day delay compared to the schedule they laid out. The delay was not because of them. Could not ask for any better contractor.

Behr is not cheap but is worth every penny. Their tradesman are well qualifed. Their supervisors are responsive. They don't cut corners when it comes to safety and workmanship. I don't live in LA but I've seen the finished product (my parents' house) and it is beautiful.

Immediate work to replace roof after windstorm was done in expeditious and thorough manner, safeguarding our belongings. Longer-term work to rebuild eroded structures was delayed to find the right suppliers, but when initiated, went at the appropriate pace. Behr managed a difficult supplier exceptionally well, making sure the job was completely and correctly done. Behr is an excellent company to work with, forthright and professional.

I was absolutely very pleased with their work. They are expensive, but I think they are worth every dime. One thing was that contractor didn't finish my outdoor fireplace, and one of Behr's subs did a custom copper top for the chimney which I was having trouble finding anybody who would do the job. I had a whole long list of things, and they did them for me through their subs.

This company is badly managed. Our construction manager changed three times. The workers were often left unsupervised and errors would occur. For example, instead of removing bad roofing over our front door, three unsupervised, day workers removed the beams between the main house and garage. They were always apologizing and telling us what they thought we wanted to hear, but nothing was ever done to improve their responsiveness, punctuality or productivity. A two-month project turned into a 9-month nightmare. They tore out all our decks in spite of a report detailing the basic soundness of the foundations. We are still left with no decks. Instead of repairing our decks, we now face having to replace them.

THEY HAVE NOT BEEN RESPONSIVE. THEY TAKE THEIR OWN TIME. THEY GO AWAY FOR DAYS AT A TIME, AND WHEN THEY ARE HERE, AND PAY ATTENTION, THE WORK IS GOOD.
