Yes, I recommend this pro
A & E Appliance repair came and looked at the problem, order the parts and was able to fix the problem right away. The technician was well dress, very knowledgable and well mannered.

I am the owner of a Maytag MVWB850WQ1.
The lid hinge broke & now the lid is very heavy to open &
shut.
My husband has A & E coming out
today (8/8) for service. He called yesterday & requested that
the part be on the truck to avoid delay. He was assured it would be.
He asked for a confirmation call but did not receive one.
Today I called, was told that they have
to come out for the part # & have it sent to us & then will
come out to repair. Why didn't they tell us that yesterday?! I can
tell them exactly which part it is!
I asked to speak to a supervisor &
have been on hold for 32:27 so far....
By the way; I called from my 2nd line;
had to explain everything to the operator AGAIN and was put on hold
only to have an automated voice come on asking what I needed to do -
set an appointment?, etc.
43:08 is the time I've been on hold!!!!
Incredibly bad customer service.

I do not recommend calling Sears to have any repairs done on
appliances.  I can see not why this company is in such trouble.  When
you call Sears for a repair the basically have a call center somewhere
in Latin America who takes your call.  I don't fault anyone where
English is a second language however when you try to communicate is very had.  The repair window time frames are vary long, 5 hours.  My repairman arrived 2 hours after the repair window.  He said he fixed everything.  When I tried to use it the next day nothing worked.  Had to make another call and about a month later they arrived again and got the oven in working order.  Now the same issue as re-appeared again and the earliest repair days is almost a month out again.

Not only were they a couple hours late but he called 25 minutes prior to the end of his deadline, which was between 8:00am and 12:00pm, from his cellphone saying that he was running late. He finally arrived about 1:30. There were two technicians. One was working on the washing machine. They told me that I had to pay a $20 co-pay which I had never heard of. I had someone come out and repair my washing machine a month prior and there was no co-pay. The one gentleman was very rude and obnoxious. He reacted liked a young boy when he doesn't get his way. I ended up calling GE to ask them about the co-pay and they told me not to pay him. He debated the issue even after hearing the phone conversation with GE(I put it on speakerphone). He kept arguing in a very confrontational matter. He at one point stormed across his the room and slammed his laptop. He did fix the problem but not without arguments.
