Ceramic Tile Service
Tile Unlimited just finished their third project for me yesterday and, as usual, I am very happy with all aspects of their work. The owner, John Marcuz, is a master craftsman and a delight to work with as he always does the project on time with great attention to a quality finished product. I greatly appreciate his thoughtful suggestions as to what to install as well as his creative solutions to the unexpected problems he uncovers in my house.
I first used him in 2004 when I expanded the bathroom and his work, especially on the jacuzzi deck, has elicited nothing but positive comments from guests. A few years ago, I used him when I completely redid the front yard. I had an ugly strip of 50's concrete as a walkway and he laid the quartz stone over it from the curb to the steps of the old porch. It is quite common to have people out for a walk and new to the neighborhood come over to admire his work and ask me for his name.
This summer, I decided to demolish the 65+ year old front porch and John provided me the name of a contractor that he trusted. The contractor worked with him and built an over-engineered porch that would carry the weight of the quartz stone that I intended to install. John followed him and laid the stone on the deck in such a manner that where it joins to his earlier sidewalk project it has a seamless connection and it appears to the new observer that both projects were completed at the same time. In the 12 hours since he finished the project, I have had 2 different strangers stop and ask for details of who did the work.
When finances permit, I intend to have John return to lay tile on the kitchen floor and then lay stone on the steps to the back entrance. As you can tell, I am wildly happy with his work and would be glad to email pictures of his work to those who are considering using his services. You can count me as a satisfied customer of 11 years.
