Jesus and his crew were awesome! Jesus especially was responsive and professional. He asked us questions to keep us involved and ensure we were getting what we wanted, but balanced that out well with professional suggestions and expertise. He was as punctual as any contractor I've ever dealt with, which was refreshing. It seemed important to JC Landworks to FINISH the job as quickly as they could after STARTING it, which helped us feel like valued customers, even though, I imagine, our project wasn't one of his highest-end. Drainage was a huge concern of mine given our hemmed-in backyard, but JC's crew used their laser levels to survey the grade and drainage is spot on. The results were fantastic and we've already recommended him to a friend of ours for their patio project.

The jobs went smoothly and finished within the day. The owner was very communicative, onsite, and always sought out input to see if things were to my liking which i really appreciated. Team was friendly, fast, and did great work. Left the area cleaner than when they came. Had them do a small driveway pour to see how they worked and the workmanship of the concrete. Overall, I am very pleased I went with JC Landworks. Will definitely use them again as I have much more concrete work around my home I would like done in the future.

I bought an Angie's List deal on redoing my concrete walkway at a great price of $999 for 100 square feet. I was prepared to be talked into a larger project, since my driveway was past due for repaving, but I was pleased that Jesus didn't pressure me. He just told me his ideas and showed me the benefits of doing the whole thing at once, and I decided to go for it. He explained the process, how long it would take, and how much I'd be inconvenienced. He emailed me the estimate we'd agreed on and checked in the day before he was scheduled to arrive. The workers were punctual and friendly. They arrived early in the morning and worked all day until the project was completed. I would rate this an excellent experience in all ways.

Looks beautiful. I had a few problems along the way. Price quoted by contractor orally was $5500. Then contract arrived for $6500. His explanation was that it was 5500 in addition to the $1000 deposit. Then we disagreed on how much work he had agreed to orally. My lesson is to have contractor or me make a drawing agreed on by both with measurements so there is no confusion later. Also missed an appointment for return for cleanup. Overall though I got a really nice result.

Well. Technician was polite, prompt, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Price was substantially above the competition, so I did not choose them.

I want to begin with stating the positives of the job. The work was well done. Much to our mistake, we previously hired an unlicensed landscaper to install a putting green and drainage system in our backyard. The work was horrible and we needed it repaired, so we contacted Jesus. He repaired the putting green beautifully and did an amazing job with installing surface drainage throughout our backyard. He was easy to contact and punctual. The job was done quickly. If I stopped here, we would hire him again to complete the landscaping in our backyard. However, problems arose. Due to the incompetence of the previous landscaper we hired, one of the rooms of our house flooded during this year's rainstorms, so we had to repair and waterproof the wall from the outside. Jesus knew we had to do this as the putting green is installed adjacent to this wall. We told Jesus that we already had a guy coming to fix the exterior wall, but he recommended someone else. While we waited for his recommendation to come through, Jesus began installing our putting green. I explicitly asked him how we were going to complete the exterior wall without disturbing the putting green since the putting green is installed against the exterior wall. I was concerned about having to repair the area immediately after installation. Jesus assured me that the repair guy would not have to disturb the putting green much. If not for this reassurance, we would have completed the repair of the wall before installing the putting green. However, after Jesus' recommendation fell through, our original repair guy came to fix the wall after the putting green was installed. The putting green had to be dug up in the area where the exterior wall was being fixed. After the wall was fixed, we asked Jesus if he could touch up the area that was disturbed. This is where the problem starts. Jesus made comments to us that were highly offensive, unprofessional and extremely inappropriate to make to a client, especially one that spent over $7,000 with him. He said he would be charging us $150 to come "clean up" the mess of the exterior wall guy, and that he is "disappointed in the actions of contractors we have hired that he doesn't want to become another one of those terrible choices." Right here, Jesus has personally criticized and insulted us. The exterior wall guy works for a large, licensed company. Jesus went on to say that the guy who repaired the wall should have told us he had to dig up some of the putting green and that he would have to charge us a little more to repair it! He then said that he was not responsible for our entire project. That is correct, he wasn't. However, Jesus was unethical in not informing us that the putting green may have to be dug up and as a licensed contractor, should have advised us to wait on the putting green until the wall was complete instead of charging us more to fix it, himself or another company!!!!! He also said that the exterior wall guy should know how to fix a putting green and that if he didn't know should have called a company to fix it and charge us more! Jesus ended up sending someone over to "fix" the putting green not without hearing grief from him. He later texted us that the exterior wall guy was stupid and didn't have to dig up as much as he did. Then asked us again if we were happy with his work after we already told him 3x that we were. The touch up of the putting green was horrible. There are bumps along the side. His worker didn't bother to even pack the material underneath to make it smooth again. We are currently finding someone else to complete the landscaping of our backyard as we will not be using his service nor recommending his service to anyone due to his extreme lack of client respect. If you want someone to do a good job, but to treat you like **** after paying thousands of dollars, this is the guy for you. He lost a $4,000 job to complete our backyard over $150 and his unprofessional badmouthing.

Jesus worked to improve the project plan and executed the plan well. The finished product exceeded my expectations.

Jesus and his workers were prompt and efficient in doing the job. Jesus was there to supervise the work.

We are THRILLED with our custom designed cement work by JC Landworks. Our large back patio, wrap around front entertainment and sitting space, front yard stairs, landing, and walkway, driveway expansion, and retaining walls look unbelievable and the stunning work is the talk of the neighboorhood. From day 1 of our total cement remodel it has been a wonderful and exciting experience working with Jesus and his hard working crew. Jesus is creative, innovative, and incredibly respectful. He was able to take what my husband and I envisioned and described, and make it a reality. He and his crew worked tirelessly every day, going above and beyond to make sure everything was cleaned up at the end of every day, and took the time to explain the design and process every step of the way (even staying long past working hours to wait for my husband and myself to both be home to walk us through the final design before the big pour the next day). We truly appreciate his attention to detail, artistic input, and passion for his creations. Jesus gave suggestions, listened carefully, and made sure we were happy with the decisions and outcomes every step of the way. We are completely satisfied, love the results, are excited to start using our new outdoor living spaces, and will recommend Jesus to everyone we know!

Jesus contacted me immediately (within 24 hours of hitting submit) and we set up a time and date and everything went as scheduled and planned. Jesus made certain of all the details as to what we wanted and executed flawlessly and it came out even better than we anticipated. He offered options where they existed and advice where we needed it. I wanted a drain in the patio area and had expected to be able to install the drain pipes myself prior to their arrival but could not get through the hard packed ground. Jesus and his crew made short work of this extra effort and I couldn't be more pleased. I would absolutely hire again and highly recommend these guys. Very very happy!! I can't wait for the concrete to completely cure and make use of these extra spaces I now have.
