+ -1 moreDean designed and installed the landscape at a friend of mine in Kensington and it had the touch I wanted. So I was connected through a friend. He is from the old school and does not use computers but rather showed up and sketched his ideas. The project exceeded my expectations.
Description of Work: Sorry this report is long overdue. I hired Dean DuVander over a year ago to help design and implement a new frontyard in our University Heights home. The home came with a very generic grassy front yard sloped down to a sidewalk, with symetrical plantings. Dean came up with a plan to create a sort of wall using boulders and rock. We saved but moved some existing plants and planted an amazingly beautiful selection of drought tolerant plants. A few months after the installation it looked like it had always been their, ie; natural! I cant tell you how many people now take time to pause and gaze at our humble little front yard and walk away with a smile. It really is a thing of beauty. Dean has an amazing knowledge of plants thanks to his 50+ years of working with them. Yes you heard correctly, 50 plus years working with these types of plants. He was also very helpful in allowing me to keep it under budget by doing some of the work myself. Thanks Dean!
