"Wood Classics prides itself on not only the best quality work, but also excellent customer service. While we are always concerned when a client is less than satisfied, we would like the opportunity to respond to the above comment. The work requested was to replace a broken drawer slide on a custom dresser we built. We accommodated the request even though the work had been completed nearly three years ago. And, as the client states, it was a small job but it did not matter to us and we worked to do everything possible to fix the mechanical part. The process was to first order the part needed. It had been discontinued since the time the cabinet was first built and needed to be located and then received - a timeline we explained to the client. Next, once the part had been received we needed to work within and around the client's scheduling parameters to replace the drawer slide. We don't necessarily fault the client for not understanding the ordering protocol as the client does not work in industry and was anxious for the replacement. But, we wanted to clarify that we replaced the part and we did not charge her for the work (accommodating the request even though the work had been completed years ago). We also pride ourselves in our professionalism and would never act in any manner that would damage a reputation we've taken more than 25 years to build."
