From start to finish, TLC was professional, understanding, and fast. Met both of the owners through the estimation process and they were both very knowledgeable, experienced, and courteous. They gave their thoughts on what may be the best layout for the loft, as well as considering our thoughts on how we wanted it to look. Once we signed the contract, we worked with Sebastian who was amazing. He always made sure to answer our questions and concerns, while always making sure we were happy with what was done thus far. It definitely wasn't easy living in the home at the same time the work was happening, but all of the employees were accommodating when we needed to move from floor to floor during their work. Anytime some prep was getting loose due to us opening and closing doors, or from my dog/toddler ripping holes, they always fixed or replaced it right away to make sure things were protected. Also the work itself was done so quickly and efficiently. I think they were done after 2.5 weeks. We did hit a snag with a 3rd party vendor having some issues, but TLC and Sebastian definitely made it right for the delay. I've never worked with a contractor that definitely commits to making sure to the customer is happy, always making sure we are satisfied with the work done, fixing any issues that may have arisen from the construction. 100% would hire them again for any Loft needs, and 100% would recommend them to anyone. My neighbors have asked about their work and they all were definitely amazed at the speed and quality of their work.

If you seek perfection when adding value to your home, you need to call Loft Crafters. The 20-foot-high space above my dining room was converted into a second-floor office, and a second-floor underutilized bonus room was converted into a spacious bedroom with a private bathroom. I have worked with contractors in the past when remodeling/repairing my home, but none of those contractors matched the precision, excellence, and craftmanship I received from Loft Crafters. Their reputation for quality and integrity was evident throughout my neighborhood as three other homeowners on my street used Loft Crafters to add a second-floor family entertainment room above the dining room or add a spacious bonus room above the living room/dining room area (depending on the floor plan). During the initial planning stage, Ben, one of the company principals, met with me and my wife to discuss our vision and goals for the project. Ben was both cordial and knowledgeable, taking the time to listen and then answer my questions and concerns regarding the proposed project. After recording our design requests and explaining how the project could be accomplished with my floorplan, a second meeting was set to review a draft of the proposed project plans. During the second meeting, Ben returned with Morris, the project manager, and met with me and my wife to review the project bid and to show the proposed construction plans. Knowing the approximate cost of this type of project, I felt that Loft Crafter’s bid was both fair and competitive. After my wife and I agreed to move ahead with the project, Ben and Morris spent additional time describing the various available options for the project (e.g., window and door locations, bathroom fixture placement, lighting/fan placement, etc.) and then recording our preferences on the project plans. Ben provided a project schedule that detailed the various phases of the project (site preparation, demolition, framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, and finish work) and then provided a detailed list of preparations I needed to complete before the work crew arrived the following week (empty the bonus room, move dining room furniture out of the way, clear a space in the garage for construction materials, etc.). The project began as scheduled where the construction site was meticulously prepared by masking off non-construction areas from the construction areas with plastic sheeting, covering the floor and stairs with heavy-duty protective materials, and providing zipper accessed doorways to prevent construction dust from migrating through the house. After the house was fully prepared, demolition began. Morris, the project manager, visited the worksite daily to ensure all work was progressing as planned and to answer any of my questions or address any concerns. The project proceeded exactly on schedule without any unplanned delays or pauses in the construction activity. Each phase of the project was complete by a specialized team (demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, heating/air conditioning, finish work, and painting), allowing Loft Crafters to provide craftsmanship quality at every phase of the project. Juan proved to be an expert framer, electrician, plumber, and door hanger, managing his crew in an efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable manner. Kelvin did an excellent job with wiring and installing the lights, switches, and ceiling fans along with installing a custom vanity, sink, and fixtures in the new bathroom. The finish carpenters who extended the stairwell handrail and supporting spindles along the front of the new loft were truly craftsman, matching the spindle, spacing, and handrail design perfectly including the color of the stain. The drywall team arrived on schedule and installed, taped, and textured all the new drywall with expert precision. All the seams, joints, and corners were perfectly jointed, providing a seamless integration with all existing drywall surfaces. Jose and his son completed all the priming and painting of the new walls. I have used several painters for past projects, but none equal the precision and quality provided by Jose and his son. The demarcation line between the white ceiling and the crown molding and the vertical wall below the crown molding was razor sharp, clean, and crisp. All the work crews were punctual, polite, and professional, and always left the job site clean. In summary, Loft Crafters exceeded my expectations in all phases of the construction process. Their attention to detail, amazing precision, and thoughtful approach to the project not only added value to my home but provided my family a well-designed, convenient, and attractive new living space. I highly recommend Loft Craters and give them a five-star rating at every step of the project.

They were efficient, responsive, prompt and reliable. They protect your home beyond what you can imagine. Also, we wanted to change their traditional design and they were more than happy with us to construct a cantilever structure verses typically adding additional wall support. When the rains came, 1 1/2 years after the construction, we had an issue we thought was related to the loft construction. They responded immediately, came out within 2 days to our house, agreed and at no cost to us and completed all corrective work within two weeks including painting. They are really an incredible company. I cannot say enough good things about Ben and Moris. They have the depth of talent that a small contractor does not have, so they can move more quickly and have additional skilled workers when needed. The managers also step in and work as well. Do not hesitate. I would pay more for their service vs another bid.

We would definitely hire Loftcrafters again. The project took about 4 weeks and went flawlessly. The crews were professional, always on time, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Our new IMAX room is fantastic. We added approximately 150 sq. ft. which included 3 single hung windows. In addition the project also provided a reasonable ceiling over the dining room so my wife could hang a chandelier.

After having 4 bids from different contractors, we decided on going with the LoftCrafters. Their price wasn't the lowest, but they had the full package, permits (with city and association), architects, and they even contacted our two associations on my behalf. The contract was easy to understand. they were happy to work with my change requests before and even during the project. They started on the day promised and completed the project ahead of schedule. We added two bedrooms to our 2 bedroom/loft home. They closed off our open ceiling over our living room and opened up our stair way, adding beautiful railing, matched our existing crown molding, included modern electrical, installed 4 ceiling fans in each bedroom, added recessed lighting across the great room and upstairs hallway, updated all fire alarms, moved air ducts all in under 2 1/2 weeks. We were able to live in our home during construction, were very clean. Each night the construction area was cleaned, plastic zipper wall were up to keep dust from our living areas. They were so great with our little dogs who were gated in our kitchen each day during construction. I'm so impressed with the quality of the work. The foreman was always available to answer question. Everyone who came into our home was polite and hard working. We highly recommend The LoftCrafters. You get what you pay for. I paid for quality and that's what I received. Thank you LoftCrafters. I wish I would have done this years ago!

Very organized, stayed on schedule which is one of the best reasons to use this company. They outlined the whole process, from start to finish, and the crew arrived every day and kept on schedule. This company excels at what they do, they ran like a well-oiled machine. Their crew was very professional and receptive to our ideas. There were a couple of minor communication issues between the job foreman and his crew that resulted in minor things done incorrectly (like wiring and location of lighting) but they fixed them promptly, same day, without any delay. I couldn't be happier with how smoothly things went...three weeks from start to finish, no delays and no flaky contractor working on other jobs at the same time to deal with! They handled all the permits and inspections too. We also got a discount for having our loft done the same time as our neighbors. If adding a loft is something you want to do but are nervous about, this is the company to call. From the first meeting, their organization and professionalism put us at ease.

Loft Crafters is amazing.  If they would expand and remodel kitchens and bathrooms, or anything other than lofts, we would use them in a heartbeat!
First they came in and presented their ideas for what we initially wanted.  They even took us to some of their previous jobs to get more design ideas, and those customers were happy to show us their lofts.  After final design plans were made, a schedule was set, then construction was started, and I've got to say right now that the 5 week project ended on time!  Two new electrical circuits, one for lights and one for receptacles were added along with a new cable TV line.  This involved one of their smaller associates climbing in very small places in the attic to route the new wiring.  A heating and air condition vent also had to be moved.  One thing that really stands out in memory, is that when the inspectors came out to inspect each phase of the project, they would see that Loft Crafters was the contractor and immediately signoff on the phase after a cursory look at the job.  They knew of the quality of their work.
And like I said before, I wish they would consider remodeling kitchens and bathrooms and anything else.

I work in commercial real estate and in construction for a living and I couldn't be happier with their work. They are by far the most professional contractors I have ever worked with Ben Loewen is great! He handled all our change orders with a smile even when I threw some in at the 11th hour. The prep work they do is amazing (plastic sheets everywhere, zippers on doorways and constantly cleaning up. It's great that they have a home office where someone takes care of all the billing and sends you updated statements throughout the entire process. If they do work in your region I would stop looking and use Loftcrafters to do your addition. Our 228 loft addition took about 3 weeks (during Thanksgiving break). Use them! You won't be disappointed!

Unfortunately this company does not do work in the Inland Empire (Corona). I called for a quote and they responded quickly. I was able to speak to one of the owners of the company who was professional and responsive. He stated that they may open an office in our area in the future and I would certainly consider working with them at that time.

I've worked with many contractors over the years... Nobody can hold a candle to The Loftcrafters. I've never experienced a company that excels in every area of their work. Right from the start, their timeliness, communications, knowledge, and advice were spot on, and that continued through to completion. Their staff is skilled, very fast, and extremely conscientious of customers and their homes and belongings. Moreover, they are adept at accepting and implementing last minute changes throughout the course of the project. They did everything they said they would do with smiling faces each day - an incredibly pleasant group of people to work with. Prices were as fair as you'll ever see. No wonder they have more past customers willing to be references for them than you could call in a month. I cannot recommend these guys more highly.

WOW. These guys are GREAT. We have worked with contractors before and had to deal with all their problems... Late, poor work... NOT Loftcrafters. Loftcrafters was on time everyday, they cleaned up everyday, they protected the house from dust and they were professional. Any time there was a problem they said no problem we will fix it. And they did. The day they were working on electrical we found out at 730 PM that they knocked out part of our electrical that included the hot water heater. Moris was out here by 830 PM to fix it and they did. They do everything from start to finish, including adding electrical, crown molding, coffered ceiling, moving heating vents, dry walling, baseboards. They got some texture spray on some of the existing baseboards and they replaced it without us having to ask. I don't have enough nice things to say about this company. What a breath of fresh air to work with them.

I was so impressed with the overall experience with this company! They were professional, courteous, clean and responsive just to name a few of the great qualities I experienced over the past few weeks. They were also very fast and finished in less time than expected. I would definitely use this company if I were to build a loft again. I felt so comfortable being at work all day and having them work in my house. So many people tried to recommend another general contractor, but I knew that I couldn't top a company that specializes in lofts. They knew what they were doing each day and the quality of their work was superb. It takes a little pre-planning with them to get the work going as there are permits to be pulled, etc., but we got underway in no time.
