Small fibers were placed in the wall to wall carpet area to be patched. The carpet was cleaned. However, because the fibers were not properly attached with adhesive. The patched area is already loose. The area rugs were delivered late, one week after the date they assured me they would be delivered. The Kilim is still dirty with an overall grey soiled tinge. The Tibetan silk arrived with many bleached out areas where it had obviously been spotted with a harsh chemical. It was still dirty. My 88 year old father was home when the carpets were delivered. It was late in the evening and dark. He signed the acceptance forms without having had an opportunity to examine the rugs in daylight. These area rugs have NEVER BEEN SPOT CLEANED FEARING THAT I WOULD DAMAGE THEM. I called the office to speak to a supervisor and request that he come to my home to see the condition of the rugs. Not only did he refuse, he blamed me for spot cleaning the carpets and claimed to have photos that would prove that fact. When I explained that I had never done that for fear of damaging them, he accused me of lying. I was so shocked at his total lack of customer service, I joined Angie's list in order to warn others away from this company. In filling out the Angie's list forms, I discovered that no where on my invoice is there an address or name of a company principal. I called the number on the invoice the request the information. I was asked why I wanted the information and was told that someone would have to call me back. No one has called. I used a reverse phone directory to verify that they are located in Irvine, CA. I could not find any contact information for this company other than the answering service phone #.
Description of Work: I called this company to clean my wall to wall carpet in 2 bedrooms. The cost quoted was $20. per room because of a coupon I had gotten in the mail. Upon arrival to my home the technician observed a small area needing patching on the wall to wall carpet and 2 area rugs needing cleaning. He encouraged me to have these task completed, also. I was assured that the company was qualified to clean a rare silk Tibetan rug and a rare turkish Kilim. I allowed them to remove the two rugs to their facility.
