Great service! Rodger is very helpful and knowledgeable (he was the first painter I've ever met that truly loves what he does). He was the only bid that included washing, priming, patching, caulking, and multiple coats of paint. Though he was a little higher than the others, he included far more than they offered so it was worth it for us to pay a bit more (we wanted a paint job that would look great and last). He also went above and beyond when he saw something that needed attention, even if it wasn't part of the original scope of work. I will be using him again for some interior work and will recommend him to my family and friends.

Rodger responded quickly to my inquiry, was on time to provide his estimate, started and completed the work as expected for the price we agreed. I would use him again and recommend him to others.

I found Rodger on Angies? List. He was selected because he was located near my home and had 4 straight ?A? reviews. He responded to my initial voice mail message within 30 minutes and then arrived at my home at the scheduled time the following Saturday morning. He was most helpful to us in selecting colors and finishes, and he volunteered to bring samples of several colors, as well near colors, of those we had selected. Rodger quoted $3,200 to do the complete job, including the garage walls (but not the garage floor.) After meeting with him, I quickly committed to have him do the job.. Rodger arrived promptly the following Monday evening with paint samples of many hues which he generously painted on several walls in each room (so that we could appreciate how the sun would hit each wall). We finally decided on colors, and Rodger began the job, as scheduled, the following Thursday. Rodger spent much time preparing each surface and protecting furniture and other non-painted areas with plastic sheet. He also was very careful about replacing furniture and wall hangings. The entire project took much longer than we had anticipated, but Rodger?s care and meticulousness was worth the few extra days of disruption. When I mentioned that I planned to re-epoxy coat the floor of the garage, in response to my request Rodger quoted an additional $150 more to do that job as well, if I were to purchase the epoxy (which I gladly did). Rodgers?s $3,200 quote for the remainder of the house included all paint. All surfaces were painted with two, if not three, coasts of paint. Seems between white ceilings and colored walls were perfect, and Rodger carefully reviewed each room to find any areas that needed touch up. Rodger honored the original quote without any attempt to up-sell. All in all, my wife and I are very pleased with Rodger Clator?s work, and unquestionably we would use him again.

He did a good job. He was helpful in selecting the stain color and that type of thing. It turned out very nice, I was very pleased with it. I would hire him again.

Rodger arrived early for the estimate, and was working from about 8-3 for four days. He completed a written estimate (though he didn't bring it when we first met) including prep work and clean up, and let me add details to the contract before I signed it. He completed the work himself -- my condominium is small. Since this was a non-resident job, I gave him my key and he checked in with me at the end of his work day. He didn't have a lot of furniture to move, either, which made the job easier for him. The last day I came for a walk-through, and he encouraged me to call him back if I found any spots that needed touching up. He left touch up paint with me. The work was incredibly well done. Cabinets painted inside and out, doors, door frames, etc. He caulked cracks, sanded, and primed. He removed outlet plates and window treatments, then put them back up on the last day. The walls look lovely, and I was pleased by the sheens he recommended for high traffic areas such as kitchen and bathroom. He will use any paint you ask, and will bring color samples if you need them. He took longer than his original estimate of 2-3 days, but he checked in with me and explained why. I was not in any rush, and it didn't change the final cost in this case. I'm glad he didn't rush the job. During the estimate phase, he knew I was taking other bids and didn't push. He DID call me to remind me that I would need an oil-based primer, and to make sure whoever was going to have the job used that.

Over 3 days, Roger completed the job. He called me at work to give me a status of how things were going. Also, when he was powerwashing, he noticed I has a few sections of wood that my contractor missed. (dry rot). I thought I would have to stop the painting and get the contractor back to replace the wood. Roger was able to do that for me, without charging me extra! That exceeded my expectations and so I highly recommend Roger Clator Painting.

Our previous painter did a bad job. The paint came off of the bathroom walls, and it took me 2 weeks to clean up the mess. Roger did a great job. We hadn?t had our exterior painted in 18 years, and he painted it beautifully for us. He let me handle the paint until I got the right color. He was very nice to work with. When he saw that I was going to hand paint some doors in the interior, he sprayed them for free. He addressed problems when he found them. He didn?t decide to paint over the rotten piece of facial board. He informed me about it, and we got it replaced. I appreciate that. He answered all my questions. He did some plastering prior to the painting to get things done right. He was very punctual. His assistants didn?t turn up a couple of times when he called them. He didn?t turn up once according to schedule.
