Dan helped me procure a lender for my refinance. When my first lender fell through he found me a new one within 24 hours. He stayed with me through the process calling the lender for progress and always calling me to let me know the status.

Dan Stone was so helpful in the process of buying our first house. We saved tens of thousands of dollars over the course of our loan. He shopped around for the best option for us, not only the best rate but also with dependable companies that he knew could get our loan done on time. It's not just about the cheapest rate if you loose your dream house to a lazy lender. Anyone can make promises but he finds the lenders that can deliver. He finds the right and best lender. We even had to back out of our first escrow and since we didnt close Dan applied our fee for his services again to our next house search 6 months later even though he did his job perfectly! He also checked in with us weekly to check up on the process and answer our questions. As first time homeowners this was so very helpful to have a unbiased third party advise. Very, very happy with his services.

Fantastic! I had been putting off refinancing because, having been through it before, I was wary of the substantial time commitment and anxious of navigating lenders and loan brokers who are all trying to make as much money as possible off of borrowers. I checked out a couple startups operating in this space to see if things had improved since the last time, but my search fell short. I remember thinking to myself it would be nice if I could find the equivalent of a fee-only financial advisor, but for mortgages. Then I found Dan Stone, the Mortgage Fee Coach. The process couldn't have been better. I learned a lot from him. I learned about a hybrid loan program that I never knew existed. He went out and shopped around for the best deals, and then I selected one, was introduced to the lender and applied online. Even better, he checks the estimates to make sure the lenders are giving you the terms originally agreed upon and not adding new items to your closing costs. To recap: * you become a smarter loan consumer * hard loan comparison shopping done for you * checks in on you throughout the process * monitors lender, no surprises turn up in your loan estimate * the amount of money saved from a better loan deal is orders of magnitude more than his fee

Excellent. Dan Stone was the constant professional through the entire process. Would highly recommend him again as he took the burden off of us trying to secure the best mortgage loan and rate. Dan has a unique "solutions concierge" service to obtain a loan that has a 'no sales pressure' approach to picking the best lender. 

At the close of our refi, we are now at $500 less monthly than our previous payment.  Simple math tells you we are saving $ 6,000 in the first year of the loan....good thing Dan works on a low flat fee basis, not a percentage!

Knowing that we plan to live another 10+ years at our current residence, a $60,000 savings on our mortgage will definitely make our "baby boomer" years more comfortable.
