Initially, well; recently terrible. Missed appointments, poor quality and just plain nasty customer service. Not honoring their contract.

I'm here to notify the public about this business. They are currently threatening my mother to take legal actions if my sister does not take her review down. They are attempting to bully the public by suppressing our first amendment. According to the federal law yelp protects consumers with the "Right to Yelp" the Consumers Review Fairness Act. I'm hoping yelp takes My complaint serious and alerts the Consumers about this business threatening the public. A Guy named Nathan (I believe the owner) has called my mother multiple times even leaving voicemails cursing at her threatening if she does not take the post down he would subpoena her and take her to court, along with taking her house away. A bit dramatic if you ask me and a lawyer I spoke to. I don't like people calling my mother stupid or cursing at her over the phone. I normally wouldn't get involved but I'm sure any yelp user would feel the same if a company threaten and bullied their mother. A little history of what happen: My mother had her home fumigated a few weeks ago, and ended up losing hundreds of dollars of food and mattresses due to the company not reviewing the terms and agreements with packaging properly. The negligence of not communicating these requirements to an elderly person was not appropriate. Working as a Registered Nurse it's important to communicate discharge instructions, we don't expect patients to know how to take medications properly without educating them. Please Remember a company that threatens with legal suits shouldn't be in business, it's our constitutional right to have freedom of speech with truthful reviews. They arrved promptly and attacked my house like it was the bastille.  Climbing on my roof as I hollered to the foreman to tell them to be careful of the tiles.  He did, but they did not.  When I returned after the tenting there were twenty broken roof tiles.  Unfortunately I signed the release whick absolved them from any damage.  Thanks Angie but your recommendation sucked.

I liked them very much. They have come out 4 years in a row now, we have renewed our arrangment every year. All organic. Less termites. They are nice people they come right away when you call. Every year we have had less and less termites.

Great service from beginning to end.  Clear communication.  Punctual, skilled and thorough service.  Fair price.  Friendly and cooperative.I have recommended them to two friends and will use them again, should the need arise.

The only thing I can say is they were a little careless when tenting and removing the tent and damaged a few things. Other than that, they were very professional and answered all of our questions.

The whole project went smoothly and we were impressed with the quality of the work that was performed. It is impossible to tell that a large second story fascia board was replaced. We had a follow up visit about a month later when some additional termites were found behind some exterior siding . It was treated by Mariners that same day. We were impressed with the quality of the work, they respected our property and explained everything to us.

It went totally as planned.  I was actually out of town when it happened.  I left them a house key and they took care of eveything.  They even bagged up food items that I missed which was very nice of them.  The spraying they did afterwards was done very quick with little inconvenience.

Original meeting was with Will @ 9:4am. I had understood the appointment was for 9 am, but on calling office I was told it was a "window" of 9-10. I was given a quote of $1,500 BESIDES the "Angie's Deal for $99 for $500 worth of service." So according to MY math this was really a cost of $2,100 for the service including the "Deal". No DEAL in my estimation. I signed a contract for the work to be done the following week, exactly one week later. Will said he would be there with the guys (plural) doing the work. He gave me a "window" which was again 9-10 am. I explained I had a medical appointment I had to leave for at 10am and felt it was necessary to have a look over the 'situation' with him before work was started. He said that would not be a problem so I agreed to the schedule. I did many things to prepare & make this project as smooth as I could. The day came and by 10am I had not hear a word. I called Will's mobile, no answer & it was full so not able to leave a message even. Then I called the office & they could not reach him either. I stated I was not comfortable going ahead without him and agreed to wait another 15 minutes while the office tried to talk to him. I got the call back just as I was leaving and they said Will was on his way. At the same time I was leaving, the truck arrived - with just one person to do the job. Alphanso introduced himself and was very professional. I told him Will was coming in spite of his back problem, so to wait for him. (At the time I talked to the office & Will, I said I was perfectly willing to reschedule- that I was not comfortable with the turn in the schedule.) My husband was/is not able to involve himself in any way but was there. When I returned from my medical appointment Will was talking to my husband, apologetic and there was Alphanso the only person to work the job. Will showed me an e-mail @7:30am to his office where he had said he had back trouble & to reschedule. Nothing was done to communicate with me, the client. Bottom line: The job got done as promised and was completed by a very amazing, hardworking, loyal employee on his own for a full 8 hours that should have taken TWO people. I feel the company took advantage of the employee, needs to have better communication ALL around, but I have a good job done with a lot of unnecessary frustration and was NOT A DEAL. This is the 2nd time I have taken an Angie's Deal and felt it was a waste of time; no different than dealing direct, which is what I will do since this experience.

Service was provided by same person (Sean) that provided estimate.  Work was quick ,neat and efficient.  Sean was great to have doing the service.  However; the pricing seemed high, especially since I had purchased a $99 for $500 worth of service coupon.  It still cost me $599 total, which equates to $1099 for relatively minor treatment and repair services.  The reason I went ahead with the service was the reputation that Mariners holds in the professional community....definitely not for good value pricing...

He was good and everything went well. the only quibble I have with the company is that I left an e-mail message for them to contct me and instead I had to phone them to make the appointment.

Their team came in and repaired a lot of the window frames and some of the facia around the house and they also treated most of the attic and random spots around the house for termites. They worked a long day but did a very complete job. It is months later and there in no residual from the termites.

Instead of doing $99 or $500 worth of work he tried selling me a bigger service. To me that is bait and switch.
He wouldn't even spray a tiny area where there is droppings
If I can get my computer running better, I will write my credit card company.

I called Mariners after noticing termites on my hardwood floors. Sean was my termite inspector, he looked in every crevice of my home, even under neath the house! I decided to go with Mariners, due to the price, punctuality of the staff and results. Everything went great in my initial treatment. I have light cream colored carpet; the technician was very careful and wore footies around his shoes to protect the carpet. THANK YOU( I don't remember his name). My termite problem was gone!! Until a few months later, in March. I started to see the flying termites and they started to bug! When I called Mariners, they must have been busy because they weren't able to come out until a week after i called. I was very worried as the termites were becoming a nuisance, I did nto want to wait a week. A day after i made my appointment, the manager called and told me she would be able to send a technician to my house the next day. I was RELIEVED. I still have another year under contract and if termites come back, hopefully Mariners will be just as great as the first, and second time!.

Mariners Pest Control technician was punctual and started the treatment right away. He explained the procedure before applying the chemicals. He cleaned the area after the treatment.

We have a relationship now with them and we are happy with them. They were reasonably priced. They did a good job. They came back a couple of times without charge. We have a contract with them and we just renewed it. They were good to work with. We have been working with them for about three years.

They came in and said free inspection. Then, they had the inspection, and found something. I would say the price was high, but the problem is, there were still termites afterwards, right away actually. I used them twice in this house. The house is getting ready for sale and ready for customer service. They were saying that it could cost you money to have them back, but it was within 2 or 3 weeks, or may be a month that I had called them, but they didn’t call me back, and they didn’t come back. I told them the house was getting ready for sale. They told me I didn’t tell them that. They didn’t pick up termites from trees that were really close. They could’ve seen that, they didn’t even notice them. So, I would say they have poor customer service, high in price, and they don’t follow their guarantee. They didn’t do the job correctly. They were very unprofessional
