My old water heater finally threw in the towel and gave up, so we called Mark Santana at MAGNA PLUMBING around 8:00am for immediate service. Stan and his crew showed up around 45 minutes later to assess the situation, removed the old water heater, installed a Noritz tankless water heater, and we were up and running again in a few hours. Plus, received a $200 rebate form to send in for the tankless water heater.

Stan and his help showed up right on time and had my new heater installed up and running in under three hours. Cleaned up the mess and even hauled away the old rusted tank.

Worst plumber ever. Home warranty sent them out in August to replace a tub spout with pull up shower converter. Simple enough, so it seems. Well, last week water was dripping from the ceiling, below where that shower is. Home warranty sent the same guy out, who met my husband at the property. My husband said he was immediately uncomfortable because the plumber was smelly, with bloodshot eyes, and his hands were FILTHY. He tried to pry off the the tub spout (that he had installed a few months ago) and couldn't get it off, so (while cursing in Spanish and English) he just forced it off, twisting and damaging the pipe underneath. Then he wanted to go into the walls. My husband sent him away. We called AA Atlas (see my review for them) who determined that the cause of the leaking was wrong parts for tub spout, and bad construction, which he said any plumber should've recognized and fixed for us. Thankfully, AA Atlas fixed the problem without going into the walls and for a reasonable cost. Avoid Magna Plumbing!!

My hot water heater died on a Saturday afternoon.  For the rest of the weekend, I had a parade of plumbers quote me on a new tankless system.  Magna had the most competitive bid, but more importantly,  Mark?s easy going attitude brought me comfort when most of the other plumber?s sales approach just caused me anxiety.

When it came time to do the work, the team showed up exactly on time.  They were extremely efficient, finishing in only a couple of hours.  I have had numerous contractors work in my home before and I found Stanley and his partner to be two of the finest professionals I have ever encountered.

Not only am I extremely satisfied with my tankless purchase, I will recommend Magna to all of my family and friends without hesitation.  They were fantastic from start to finish.

I gave Magna a good rating because they did come back and do the job correctly the second time. When they came the first time, the crew removed my water heater and then advised that they could not install the tankless in the area we had agreed upon. I later called the owner and he came back and agreed to move it to the original location, which was acceptable except the crew could not install it there on the day they came because it was raining. The owner apologized and sent a crew to move the tankless a few weeks later. The work was good and done right the second time. They did live up to their word.

They were sent by the home warranty people, and so I only had to pay $60 for everything. They were really good at what they did. There were some things that might or might not have been covered under the warranty, and they covered it. They came out three times altogether, and they were on time and on one occasion were early. They got everything done really fast and were in and out of here. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

We just bought a house, and we have a home warranty plan. I saw water in the garage, and determined we had a leak, and called the home warranty people to get a plumber. It took multiple calls and about a week of time to get a plumber (not sure who's fault that is). The plumber arrived and determined that to diagnose the problem, they needed to cut a hole in the wall in the garage. There is a cabinet right where they wanted to cut the hole, and said that they could not cut a hole in the cabinet, they left without charge. After calls to our home warranty service, I called the plumbers and asked about getting a hole cut in the cabinet, and they said it would cost $60! Not to repair the cabinet afterwards, which I said they need not bother with, but just to cut a hole in it, when they are going to have to cut a hole in the drywall behind it anyway. I felt like I was being taken advantage of because I had a water leak and they felt like I had no choice. I found someone else to cut the hole for me, for free, and called them back to diagnose the leak. They cut a hole in the drywall, and determined that it was a slab leak (what a dumb way to build a house, burying the plumbing in concrete!). The estimate for repairling the leak was $2,200. I thought that was rediculously high, so I found another plumber on Angie's list, who gave me a $1,500 estimate, which I though was more reasonable. About the only positive thing I can say is that the plumber who came was pleasant and polite and seemed competent.

It went awesome. I would highly recommend them. They were honest and professional. They were prompt and polite. They cleaned up after themselves. For all the work that they did the price was definitely more than fair.

Tito was knowledgeable, professional, clean and kind. He's been to our home three times and worked on cleaning the system and installing the register from about 2:30pm to 9:30pm to make sure it was done right. Even though it was late, he still stayed to test and make sure every vent was working and noted that the inexpensive, simple changes he made more than doubled the airflow to the rooms upstairs. We are still deciding to install the two-ton system upstairs in our attic so that we can run the smaller unit at night and save money. We have already made the appointment with Magna to have Tito come and do it.
