At first I was very pleased with the transaction, all of the paperwork was in order and escrow closed in a descent timeframe. Buying a home is a big ticket item and there are lots of details that the average person is always are of. One of these details was knowing about incentives that are offered to home buyers, especially first time homebuyers. In this transaction I was qualifed for a $8,000 tax credit providing that a certain form was submitted within two weeks of escrow closing. This form is usually submitted by the escrow company, in this case, Lawyers Title. I was not offered the opportunity to participate in this program by my escrow officer, Brandi Rivera. Don't use this title company or this officer.
