LA FITNESS

As far as the personal training, I had multiple problems.  I paid $4,000-$5,000 for the training.  They fired my trainer and never got anyone else then called me from a different club and basically asked if I wanted to do personal training...I wanted to review my old sessions first and asked if they'd call back, well they never did.  They also expired my remaining personal training without telling me.  It's a constant battle to be able to use it and the trainers are always trying to scan the bar codes so they get paid when I am not even there. I think I'm going to have to get a lawyer get in contact with them about my unused  training hours that they expired. I shouldn't have to be in constant battle with them to figure out what to do with the funds that I've paid them. Very unstable. The reason I left an 'F' for quality is because they fired your trainer and never got anyone else...the trainer was good but they never replaced him.  Make sure you keep your paperwork because my wife had signed up for special deals and they cancelled them.  Her membership is supposed to be $19/month and they raised it to $32/month so be very careful and read in between the lines.  Do not lose your contract!

You sign a contract that legally binds you, You get there trainers who some of them think their phones are more important than your training.  Some trainers are intense and are really awesome.  But If the trainer you like leaves guess what???   Pick another trainer because you are under contract and they are totally not sensitive to your needs but to take your money.  And they will trick you.  They will tell you that you can switch your sessions.  If you purchase the three sessions a month but that ends up being too many sessions, they told use that you can switch to one or two sessions a month.  Wrong.  Your stuck and you better use the sessions or they'll just add up.    WATCH OUT!!!!!!!!  THEY LIE SO MUCH TO GET YOU TO SIGN UP.   READ YOUR CONTRACT VERY THOROUGHLY.

Good workout and it was fun.

The class was very good. The teacher was very energetic which motivated you and helped you get a good workout and enjoy the class.

I canceled our memberships. It was a poor environment for us. The club that we went to was not kept up very well. They were crowded and the machines were not well maintained. It seemed in disarray most of the time. The worst thing was that if you were on a machine, you had no option other than to face a television turned to what I consider to be trashy channels and you could not change it. We will not use them again in the future.

The location is very clean and I always enjoy going there.

THE COMPANY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL BUT A LITTLE PUSHY. THEY WOULD NOT LET ME LEAVE WITHOUT GETTING A MEMBERSHIP FROM THEM. OVERALL, IT WAS AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE.
