Install My Lights - The Recessed Lighting Company

Two guys came on time (8:15 am) and started by covering all the floors and cabinets with plastic. Then one guy (Raoul) worked on the lights and the other (Victor) on the TV. They both finished at about noon. The house was left cleaner than it was before they came.

The service team (Sean and Raul) was very professional and polite. They took great care in covering/protecrting our furniture and wood flooring, as well as cleaning up thoroughly when the work was complete. We would highly recommend your company.

Excellent. Cesar & Sean were the installers and arrived on time. First they reviewed my job and then took a lot of care to lay down plastic over each of the work areas. The light fixture & chandelier were not easy to handle but the guys were very careful and the installations went smoothly. They also took the time to explain any issues. This is my third job with Install My Lights. Previously, they installed LED lighting, flushmount fixtures and new switches throughout two residences and the results look great. I highly recommend them.

Very well. Andrew was quick to schedule an estimate on the work that I had requested. Installation date soon followed. The company works with your busy lifestyle to give you different install dates / time that worked for me. I bought 2 ceiling fans with remotes. They provided 5" lights, wiring and dimmer switches. They installed a new ceiling fan junction box with wiring for each new ceiling fan. Cesar, Cameron, and Thomas were the installers that arrived promptly at the stated time. They laid plastic on everything to keep your house clean and spotless when they leave. The total job, from start to finish was less than 6 hours. I would totally recommend them / use them again.

Cesar and Raul installed my recess lighting and did an excellent job. They called ahead to let me know they were on their way. They covered all of my furniture with plastic to protect it, they removed their shoes, they worked quietly and respectfully and completed the job in a timely manner. The lights looked beautiful and there was no clean up for me. Thank you guys, you;re the best!

Cesar, Steven and Thomas were great to work with. They were very professional and did an excellent job. I couldn't be happier with the result. I have already received complements on the work. The crown molding is a great focal point. Tonny (who helped with the original estimate) knew exactly what we wanted and made great recommendations.

Gesar arrived on time, great meeting, did a walk thru he expanded his work, and suggested placement for the fan. Prepped the room and went to installing the electrical wiring and fan, vacuumed work area ,and went over the operation of the fan. Great Professional,

We had old light fixtures removed and new recessed lights put in. It was a smooth operation, Cesar, Steven, Mark, and Sean did a great job. I would absolutely hire them again or if anyone asks, I'll gladly recommend Install My Lights.

I could not be happier with the finished product. We first used them for recessed lighting in our extra workout/tv room downstairs. The estimator came out a agreed time and gave an estimate the same day. The crew arrived after setting up appointment and were wonderful. I have never seen anybody do such a great job to ensure that everything was covered from the floors to the walls. This helped with an easy clean up. The team installed 7 lights in a few hours. The cleaned up and made sure I was happy. I was so happy I had them back to put recessed lighting in 3 rooms upstairs. Again work was completed on time with high standards. They also turned me onto smart switches that can be controlled by the Lutron app. At the time this was the only room with smart lighting. I than called them back to hang a by 55 inch tv with sound bar in the family room. Again they did a great job and it looks great. We had just finished painting and decided to put recessed lighting in the family and dining room. I called Install My Lights and they gave me another estimate and we scheduled the work. With the new install I requested all smart switches so I could start setting up my smart home. The techs should up on time and performed the work flawlessly. They even spent time walking me thru the set up of the smart light and how to hook it up to my Alexa. I cannot say enough how impressed I am with the entire process. Anybody who have I come in contact with in this company has been A+!!!!!!

Hector and Thomas were my installers, and did a great job. They were on time, and very respectful and courteous in my home. They took care to protect the whole area before they started work, to keep everything clean. They double-checked the placement of the lights before cutting any holes, answered all my questions, and everything looks and works great. If we ever need recessed lighting again, I would definitely use them.

Awesome!!! I am so glad to have no more CFL's and the new LED's are beautiful. The price per light for the regular height ceiling lights seemed a little high, but it was the same price for the double height ceiling lights. So I think it evened out nicely. The 4 men who came were very professional and courteous. They covered absolutely everything with plastic. I would definitely use them again!

Install my Lights is the best contractor I've ever worked with. Tonny came by to give an estimate right at the time he said. He emailed me the estimate later that day. And he responded quickly to all my follow up questions via email. Installation was fantastic. Victor and whomever he was with did great. He called me when he had questions and confirmed what I wanted. He installed smart dimmers I purchased separately and even installed a smart switch for a pre-existing ceiling fan. Work was done as cleanly as could be expected. As communicated pre-installation, I will have to do some minor paint touch ups, but it wasn't a surprise. Plus, my complex isn't always the easiest to figure out how to get into. Not once did these guys bother me for directions. That's rare. So, they did a fantastic job... at a decent price... working with me on what I wanted vs limitations of my condos pre-existing structure... and did it in an efficient manner without wasting a single second of my time. Perfect.

The installers, Cameron and James were very professional, and courteous. They did their best to provide a good service and to deliver a good presentable product. I highly recommend their work, and look forward to hiring them again and doing business with the company.

We are extremely happy with our experience. From the estimate, to scheduling, to installation, Install My Lights was amazing. The installers were Mark and Sean and they couldn't have been nicer guys. They showed up on time, covered the entire work area with plastic to minimize mess, and were extremely polite. Mark walked us through the lighting plan and we worked though a few minor changes together, on the spot. Once the lighting was installed, the guys rolled up their plastic and returned all furniture to how they found it. The house was left perfect. A couple things to note. Install My Lights did have to make a few cuts in our drywall to run the wiring, install the switches, etc. They did all the patch work and the texture matches perfectly. We are responsible for the painting, but since the patch work and our paint are close in color, you can barely tell where they cut. We decided to get the Casetta smart dimmers for both of our rooms. We bought them off Amazon and IML installed them. IML also sells them, but you need a bridge for them to work with Alexa and we needed to get this off Amazon, so we bought them all together. They work amazing with the remotes, alexa, and with our phones. We had one small technical issue due to the dimmer we chose. Mark returned to the house within the next couple days to correct the small issue to ensure our lights were functioning perfect. We added a total of 10 lights to 2 rooms, 2 dimmers, a bridge, etc... The lights make a huge change to the look and feel in our house. It feels like a mini-remodel for such a small cost.

Great company to work with. Hector and Sergio showed up on time, were professional, prepared the work area so that my kitchen wouldn't get messy, and proceeded to do a fantastic, professional lighting installation. When they were done they re-textured the ceiling, and the entire job looked amazing. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this company to my friends and family.

Caesar and Steve from Install My Lights came to do the work. They were very conscientious. They covered everything in plastic so dust would not touch anything. They did a very good job, cleaned up wonderfully. I am very happy with the work that was done. They even made sure my cat was happy! I will certainly call them again for work should I need anything done.

I didn't give them the job. It was to remove the fluorescent flight and make the ceiling level and to put in some LED lights. Their price was high, but their service was really good. The guy that came out was really knowledgeable, friendly and explained things. He got an A. I really wanted to go with them because he really sold their company talking about all of the bonuses that you get, how they cover the furniture and all of that. He was very professional. It was just too expensive. He showed up for his appointment on time.

Job was completed quickly and with very little dust. Very little damage to drywall which they patched up, textured and painted.

This service was amazing. The guy they sent out was extremely professional and did a fantastic job. They were also able to squeeze my appointment in on pretty short notice. I was super happy with them and would use them again in a heart beat.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT! We recently had Install My Lights come out to install six recessed LED lights in the living room, five in the kitchen, four in a bedroom, hang a ceiling fan, and move a chandelier. From the moment the four workers arrived, I had a good feeling about the project they were about to begin. All the employees were very courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. They got to work right away, hanging plastic and moving fragile items. Every step of the way they would tell me what they were doing, or ask me questions, to make sure that they were doing exactly what I wanted. Before they made the holes for the lights, they put screws in the ceiling so I could be sure about the location of the lights. If I made a suggestion, they would listen to me and either agree or give me an intelligent reason why something should be done a certain way. It only took them 5 hours to install all 15 lights, hang the fan, move the chandelier, patch up any holes that were created in the process, and clean up. When my husband came home and examined the work, he said it was exceptional! He also said that their attention to the customer (me) could serve as an example to any business. (My husband is an engineer and a perfectionist. He has a critical eye and is never satisfied.) There are very few contractors out there who are as efficient, hard working, and knowledgeable as these guys were. I wish every home improvement project could be as easy and stress-free as this was!
