They did a terrible job. I just paid $3,000 to get it repaired when it rained hard! They gave me on the paper that the job was guaranteed for 10 years and my roof was guaranteed for 50 years! And here it leaked with the first big rain storm we had. And I always check a license. I don't do business with anyone unless they are licensed and bonded. When I called the license board to complain, I found out that they had their license yanked because they had so many complaints from other customers. They didn't start when they were supposed to start. They were a week late. And then when I finally did get ahold of them, I told them they should be calling me letting me know they weren't coming because I'm sitting here waiting. So they weren't prompt, they didn't start on time, and then they came...they sent 3 guys out, they tore my roof off and then left to go to another job. While they were gone, it rained and my whole house leaked! It was unbelievable. And of course, I raised hell. They send sent workers out here and put up tarps. Then when they finally did come out and fix it, I was still fighting with the owner of the company because it had ruined my ceiling and my ceiling warped! So I was fighting with him because I felt they were responsible. So anyways, they finally got it finished. But I still called the licensing agency in California. I also called the bonding company and they said they were so sorry but all their bond money had already been paid out to other plaintiffs so there's no money left to pay you. This was in 2015. So here we get to Jan. 20th of 2017 and my roof leaks. At the peak. And here I had a 10 year labor warranty. I tried to call the company. It rings and rings, says the mailbox is full and you can't leave a message. So I called the license board and said I don't know what to do about this. So they said, I don't have much choice but to take them to small claims court. So now I'm doing the paperwork for that. It's a nightmare company. If you go to the state licensing board, there's every complaint you can think of about them. They also took more money than they were supposed to for a deposit as stated in California law. They weren't punctual. They were courteous. They didn't clean up after themselves. They left the mess for us to clean up. A good worker is supposed to clean up after themselves. They didn't. My roof wasn't even leaking when we had it replaced. We just figured it was time for us to replace it. Now with a new roof, it leaks! They used good materials, it's just the workmanship was not good or it wouldn't have leaked!
