We first purchased motorized cellular shades for the windows in our living room.  The remote control and remote timer were needed because we didn't want long cords hanging 18 feet from the high windows.  We decided to use Fashion Interiors because they worked with the electrician who had to install all the electrical apparatus to make the shades work.  The installer, Eli, did a fantastic job after the electrical work was completed.  He even came back a few months later to fix the remote control that not working properly.
Next, we had custom plantation shutters installed in the 2nd floor rooms.  Installation was accomplished by the same wonderful installer, Eli.  Based on the good results of the 2nd floor shutters, we decided to have shutters installed on the entire first floor.  Fashion Interiors provided the same marvelous installer, Eli, to complete the job. He is the best!

A truly great experience from start to finish.
I wanted Hunter Douglas (HD) even though I have a limited budget for window treatments at my new home. I went out and interviewed all the Gallery dealers and more in my area. All of them were good, but Fashion Interiors (FI), being in the exclusive HD Centurion Club Program, really stood out.
Specifically, I worked with three individuals from FI: Angie, Michele, and Eli. Angie the showroom manager introduced me to HD products at the Irvine showroom and helped me focus on products within my price range. She also was my main point of contact throughout the process for logistic questions and coordinated all my appointments. Michele the designer brought samples to my in-home consultation, helped me finalize my choices, and handled both the inital measure and estimate. This was not an easy task because I chose many different products for my new house. Eli the senior technician patiently addressed all my installation questions and requests, did both the final measure and the installation himself.
I am thankful that Angie, Michele, and Eli spent countless hours with me despite my limited budget and worked together as a team. They were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. They cared deeply about the products/services they offer and they valued my inputs. All three paid great attention to detail; as a matter of fact, FI was the only dealer I interviewed that did measurement twice to ensure zero mistakes during ordering. Pricing-wise I was also satisified; FI's quote was fair to start with and they later price matched the lowest bid to earn my business. Although wait time was longer than originally estimated, I understood because HD was overflowed with manufacturing orders during the holidays and Angie kep me informed the whole time. During installation a few of the blinds were discovered to be manufactured incorrectly, FI made it a top priority and replaced the blinds within a couple weeks. Now with new HD window treatments, my beatiful new home truly feels like a real home.
FI met all my window treatment needs and exceeded my expectations. Rarely do experiences with home improvement go the way you want them to, but in this case they really did!  I highly recommend Fashion Interiors.

Overall the process went very well, from initial contact to install.  We are still waiting on one window covering and Josh wants to come back and do some finishing touches on some other windows.  I would definitely recommend  them and use them again. 

They did good work. I was advised to go with more of a blackout shade and I think I would have been better off to stay with the one that I originally planned. I'm not sure I should have followed their recommendation on that. They were prompt on the installation. I got one other quote.

The products they used were high quality and the installer attended to detail. Unfortunately it was sad how the sales person explained it. He presented products that eventually were not available so we kind of had a back and forth trying to find the right materials that were not expired or no longer available. My expectations were a little bit different. Overall, the final installation was really good.  I would probably use them again because the original installer was really good and attentive.  The quality of the Hunter Douglas shade was what we were looking for.

Update on 6-16-2013.  A small clip worth pennies that links the roller shad chain broke.  They scheduled a service person to come out and repair it and provided extra clips for future use.  There followup and service is quite good.

Everything was handled smoothly and professionally. As we decided on hardwired blinds, they even recommended an excellent electricians to perform the necessary electrical installation.

Every step of the process was pain-free, high value, and economical.

Went to the showroom. The saleswoman covered all aspects and options we were looking for. She came out to the house that day and measured the window openings and placed the order. Once the products came in a very courteous man came and installed the products.

The experience was painless and prices very reasonable for the quality & service; we are very happy with Fashion Interiors' performance.

I selected them because the salesperson (Terri) was very responsive to unique design needs and extra careful to get correct measurements.  Late shipment of one of the products delayed projected install 3 weeks, but they were proactive to schedule install once product arrived.  Headrails on the roller shades were not what I expected, but I am pleased with the overall result.

We had an exceptional experience with this company. Their decorator provided helpful tips about the pros and cons of each type of window covering. She was also very helpful in choosing colors. They have a beautiful show room where you can look at all of the window covering options. The decorator also came to our home to make some recommendations and help choose colors. My experience with other window covering companies is that they were just "order takers". Fashion Interiors is full service and has competitive pricing. The measurements and installation went smoothly too. We will be using them again soon for curtains.
