There were two parts to this. One was an honest assessment of what appeared to be a roof leak but was actually from an air conditioner. However in the process, Jose discovered an area where light was leaking in-- this was pipe vent that looked wrong from the ground and I had seen the light leak when I looked in the attic. It turned out that an earlier repair had been done with oversize parts and stuffed with plastic to fill in gaps. The plastic had degraded and posed a potential leakage problem. Jose gave a quote and came back and fixed and sealed the vent with the correct size material.
