Called in my dryer to warranty company requested them because he had come before and was great! Not this time came out after we waited almost a week. Walked in I turned on dryer it made a hideous sound he knew immediately it was the rollers within 30 seconds wrote it down told us he would order part after he got approval etc so time next week come back.. not happy to have to wait without a dryer but!!! About hour later another appliance company called to come out look at dryer!!! What I called the office was lied too said he didn’t know what problem was and he declined it!! How unprofessional is that.. now we have to wait another week for someone to come out and tell us what’s wrong duh and wait another week. Shame on this company he wouldn’t want his wife or family to go thru this but doesn’t care if we do. You don’t dump your clients beware it could be you next

Its a long story, but the lower oven burner stopped working at the same time the control panel gave us an F9 error, which referred to the self-cleaning oven door lock. I went online and looked for a Jenn-Air certified repair company and found one in the Inland Empire that also covers the Coachella Valley. I had to wait about 10 days for the serviceman to come. He walked in, asked me what was wrong, barely looked at the range and decided we needed about $800 in parts, plus $300 in labor to repair it. It took another 7-10 days to get the parts in and by the time he came to do the repair, the door lock issue had already fixed itself and the $500 control panel he put in didn't solve the burner problem.  The repairman didn't know what else to do and basically told us we needed to buy a new range, so we asked the repairman to take out the parts he put in and we settled at just paying the initial service charge.
We were very concerned about buying a new range, because it was custom fit for an island and included a downdraft that had to be cut into our slab when our kitchen was remodeled. Jenn-Air doesn't make this kind of oven anymore and we weren't sure the alternate Kitchen Aid model would fit in the same place. The Kitchen Aid was going to cost more than $3,000!
In desperation, I decided not to worry about Jenn-Air certification and went on Angie's List and looked for local appliance repair companies with good ratings and came across Williams Dependable Appliance. David Williams came out and actually listened to me about what was going on; he did some diagnostics and looked at the wiring diagram that was included with the range. He said he thought is was just a relay that had tripped, so he ordered the part. When it came in, he came to our house on a Saturday afternoon, and even had his teen-age son on call in case he needed help lifting the range. As it turned out, he was right about the relay, and was able to replace it quickly with just the help of my husband (and a couple blocks of wood) to hold the range up. The final cost was the original $75 service charge plus $50 for the part!
I can't say enough good things about David's service which was ethical and honest, especially compared to the first company. I would recommend him heartily because he gave us back our oven which hadn't worked for almost two months. David obviously knows what he is doing and really tried to solve the problem. Plus he's a nice guy, as well as his wife Michelle, whom I talked to when making the phone calls.

Contacted Williams about the rattle in my microwave oven.  David came over to Palm Springs for a scheduled appointment
and diagnosed the problem.  They were not able to located the needed replacement motor, so they did not charge me for the
service all, but I found one online through Sears Service Department.  Another appointment with Williams was scheduled and David came and replaced the motor quickly and efficiently.   My entire experience with Williams Appliance was very helpful and more than
satisfactory.   I would definitely use them again.

The good news is that David was prompt, professional and thorough in diagnosing a squeak in our washing machine. The bad news is that it's a dying transmission and his recommendation was to just use it until it no longer works and purchase a new one. We found him to be very honest and personable and would not hesitate to call him again for any future needs for our appliances. Yes! He also services refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, etc. He's our new go-to-guy!

David arrived promply and had to return with his son to help him move the dryer from on top of the washer. He repaired the washer and it works great. We thought we would have to buy a new washer, but we were spared that expense by David.
David is smart, knowledgeable, honest, charming and polite. When I talked to his wife, Michelle, on the phone, she was very helpful and easy to deal with. They are a wonderful family business. I can't recommend them enough.
They are reasonably priced and good honest people. I am extremely happy with them.

The previously repaired wall oven broke down again on 12/26/13. There was no display on the panel. David looked at it on 12/27/13 and said there was one additional part that had not previously been fixed and he would order it. Two days after he left, the oven spontaneously beeped, displayed an E6 F2 error message and then went blank again. I phone David's office and left him a message about the error message. I wasn't sure if this was the same error message received on the past repair and, if it was, maybe the new part he put in was defective. I phoned Michelle on 1/6/14 to check on the status of the oven part and was told the part was on back order. Spontaneously, the error message displayed again and remained on for a hour or so and then the clock reappeared. Oven began to work again. Bizarre! Part came in and was installed on 1/7/14. I will be using the oven this weekend and hope to not have any additional problems.

I called Williams Appliance Service based on the reviews on Angie's List. I phoned their office on Monday 9/16/13 AM to report the problem and a visit was scheduled for Wednesday 9/18/13 AM. David arrived on time and confirmed my diagnosis of a faulty control panel. He said he would call me that afternoon with the price on a new panel plus labor, which he did. He was given approval to order the part and said he would call me when it was in, hopefully next week, and schedule the appointment.
The part did arrive the following week and the installation appointment was scheduled for 9/26/13. David arrived on time and began the installation. When he took the panel cover off from the oven, there was a broken piece inside that keeps the panel connection between the control buttons and the inner workings secure. David said he would have to order a replacement and go back to the office to check the inventory and price and would not charge me additional labor plus give me the cover at his wholesale cost. He phoned later that afternoon with the price and received approval to order the new part. Fortunately, the part arrived in a few days and the next appointment was scheduled for 10/3/13.
David arrived on time and successfully completed the installation and explained the terms of the warranty for labor and parts.

Pleased to deal with a professionally prompt and reliable serviceman. David, the owner, came to my house promptly and on schedule. He did the repair quickly and left no mess . He was at the house for the better part of an hour and charged a minimum amount. I've since learned that the appliance franchised repairman charges far more than David just to show up and than adds a labor and parts charge in addition. I'm very impressed and David has a new customer.

I called the co. and got good service with the receptionist. She scheduled the appointment and even called the day before to confirm the appointment. The appt. window time was supposed to be from 8AM-12noon, however, the repairman came at 7:45AM! I was in the shower, luckily a family member let him in, or I would have missed him. He checked the washer and gave his diagnosis. No work was done, so can't grade that. Overall, it was adequate, not outstanding, but I didn't like not keeping the time window and his coming early.

I used this company to repair a broker control panel on my very expensive stove. They completed the repair promptly, but required my property manager to be available for a very long window (4 hours - as is customary for appliance repair companies) which was a slight, but not unmanageable inconvenience.

Well, he was right, he came back 2 days later with the new water pump, put it in the washer, tested it while I was there, and it worked fine. The tenant is happy. I'm happy because the price was so reasonable.

The technician came to the house on August 4 and after taking off the inside back of the freezer said he needed to order a condenser coil so we had to shut the fridge off and let it thaw. It was a block of ice. He said he would order the part on Monday. He returned August 9th (I think ) and I had forgotten about the appointment so I called to reschedule. The technician returned on August 18th with the wrong part then returned the next week and fixed it in a jiffy! It seemed to take a long time to get repaired but their schedule was very busy and technicians were not available on my schedule. I'm pleased with the work they did and the price was good. I would recommend them.

.After finding Williams Dependable Appliance on the list I called and spoke to Michelle, David's wife. She was delightful and made some suggestions that we could try. I told her that David should come because we needed to get the washer working properly or buy a new one I was quoted a price of $65.00 - very competitive - and the appointment was set for the next day. David arrived promptly. After a thorough inspection of the washer including all working parts and a check of our hot water temperature. David said our problem was the water heater was set too low. He ran the machine for about an hour checking inside every few minutes and put in some dishwasher machine cleaning powder. The bill was $65.00 and our dishwasher has worked very well since .

He was outstanding. We didn't have to pay because it was under our home warranty. He was very courteous and knew exactly what he was doing. He came when he said he would be there. He was cordial. He did a very good job and he did it quickly. He did what he said he would do and when he said he would do it. We would use him again in a heartbeat.
