Terrible, did not not show as promised for appointment. A day and a half late while I had no heat or hot water for four days from making the initial appointment. They charged me $68.00 for estimate that was over twice what the final repair cost was from a reliable and responsible punctual plumber.

Professional, prompt, courteous & friendly service. No attempt to upcharge. Worked very quickly and explained everything needed to be done very well.

Joe from Valley Plumbing called the other day to set up an appointment between 8-9 this Wednesday morning for his technician to come out and put in a new hot water heater. I just received a call at 8:50 am from the technician on our schedule appointment day asking if okay to come out. I told the technician yes and we have been waiting. He goes on to say he was in his company weekly meeting and just finished. So if Joe knew his company has a meeting every Wednesday why would he schedule an appointment with the time frame of their company weekly meeting when there is no way his technician is going meet the appointment set. The more frustrating part is I have had an employee at the office since 7:30 which I am paying for to make sure we are available for the technician on time on our end. The sad part is I called Joe at Valley Plumbing to let him know of the situation and he could have careless.

service was scheduled within 2 hours of my call. Michael came on time and was courteous, efficient, capable, knowledgeable and clean. The replacement part was provided and installed as I had requested in my call for service. I highly recommend Michael, the plumber who responded, and the plumbing company.

Service tech came out and didn't know what to do. He called a supervisor and when he got to my house he didn't know what to do so they called the gas company. Bottom line they couldn't do the job and charged me $100 to tell me that. I called a competitor and there was no mystery as to what needed to be done. The job was scheduled and I wasn't charged for the estimator's visit. I guess you have to charge if you don't know what you're doing!!

Valley Plumbing came out the next day. The plumber diagnosed the issue as a leaky faucet and offered to either install a new faucet hose or a completely new faucet. We opted for the latter as we didn't like the current faucet. Got a new kitchen faucet at Lowe's and the plumber came back the next day to finish the installation. They didn't charge us for the first "diagnostic" visit! We were pleased with the experience from our phone contact with their office to completion of the work.

Had been experiencing long waits for hot water in most faucets and showers. Saw advertisement for this solution and obtained a few bids. Valley was more than 50% less than another and was pleased with their consultation. Work was scheduled promptly and installation went smoothly. There has been significant improvement in the shower and the location of the return valve--kitchen--but only minor improvement at other faucets. Was led to believe that there would be substantial improvement overall. In followup to some lingering questions, Valley has been a little slow in responding. Generally, I am glad that I went ahead with the project; just expected more improvement throughout.

We've had trouble with this toilet running a long time now. We've had two other plumbing companies try to fix it -- unsuccessfully. Abel was very knowledgeable and knew immediately what needed to be done to permanently fix the problem.

I had to call them and request an overtime job since I wasn't sure when my kitchen would be done. It was about $120 for overtime service which was ridiculous but the guy was very knowledgable and efficient. We did have some problems because since there is over one overtime tech, he also has to constantly answer the phone that people call to request jobs. So he was constantly answering the phone which was delaying our job. We ended up having to tell him that OT pay is extremely expensive and we aren't going to pay for your phone call time during our job

The plumber did the job, then left. I noticed the next day, a Saturday, that the repair was leaking. I called the shop, but it was closed, so I left a message. The plumber who handled the call personally called me back in about 20 minutes and said he would come over and take a look so I wouldn't have to have my pool filter out of commission for the weekend. He came over and assessed what would make the job right, then went and got the parts from the warehouse and spent more than three hours repairing it. In the end, I only owed an additional amount for the extra parts, which was about $55. I have used Valley Plumbing several times and have always had great results.

I don't know all that much about plumbing, but it seemed to me that he did a very professional and thorough job. He performed the work in one hour, which I thought was quite reasonable.

Great turnaround time from initial call to getting a service tech to my home to diagnose an on-going problem with a line blockage affecting all drains in the main bath...which the 'home warranty' plumber couldn't solve. He stated that if that didn't work, he'd go to the next step to yank the toilet and try to unblock from there. His first attempt worked thank goodness and he was out within the hour. I'd call them again first rather than the 'home warranty plumber' which ended up being a waste time and $60 down the drain. Call Valley Plumbing for all your plumbing needs...I will next time. UPDATE January 2015. Valley Plumbing was out to our home and did an outstanding job re-plumbing the copper and drains for our dual vanity and shower mixer. Meticulous job that EXCEEDED our expectations. We have a laundry list of upcoming projects that they were happy to provide us quotes on for budgeting purposes and will be ready soon to embark on our next project with Valley Plumbing. They stand behind their work for a year! Unheard of these days. Call them FIRST!

Called back very quickly. Correctly quoted price of service. Came on time and completed job. One toilet had a problem with a cross threaded part so when the water was turned on it created quite a water spill which my towels were used to mop it up. The piece was replaced with a new one and there was no more leak.

Returned call on the same day. Installation was accomplished within a few days. I did not get another estimate on the cost of the hot water heater or for installation, hence my uncertainity as to price. Work was accomplished in under three hours in very humid conditions. Cleanup was satisfactory. Overall, I would use this company again, and would reccommend them. I received an oral quote and would like to have had a written one. However, the price was two hundred dollars under the quote given and I was very pleased about that.

Called office to make appointment for a plumber to come and find out why it was getting almost impossible to get hot water from most household faucets plus look into a device under the kitchen sink that was supposed to bring hot water faster to that area since it was the fartherest from the heater. Received a window of 12:00 to 5:00 PM for that day and was told James would call before he came to my house. He did call a little after 12:00, came within 10 minutes and checked into all my concerns. He was friendly, yet professional, and took time to explain everything to me. He turned up the dial to almost the max in order to get hot water to all faucets. He called his office to check the serial number and learned the hot water heater was probably the original one (house was built in 1984)---he didn't try to sell me a new one, said this one could last another five years or another month, who knew. I encouraged him to tell me about the new heaters. He explained that the burner assembly were now electronic and more user friendly and, of course, more efficient. He checked the device under the kitchen sink and explained its use. I decided to have him take it out since it didn't seem very useful and I also decided to go for a new hot water heater for energy-saving and peace of mind. He quoted an estimated price for the work and checked his schedule and found he had sufficient time the next day and would call me at 2:30 PM. to make sure I was home. He said it would take 2 to 2 1/2 hours to do the job. Again, he called at the designated time and came right over. Installation was very neat and all debris etc. was cleaned up, the old heater taken away and before leaving, he explained how to set the heater, to re-light it if necessary and what the green light meant when it was flashing or solid, in addition to leaving the official instruction booklets. Also, he explained that his company does have a plan in place for a nominal charge which he quoted to handle the draining once a year, and at that time, they also check to make sure everything is working properly. He also put a company sticker on the tank, with his name and the date of installation. I can't think of a thing that wasn't taken care of. It was probably the best experience I've ever had with a plumbing company and it started with the initial call speaking to the receptionist who was friendly and efficient.

They were good and did a good job. My experience with them was good. The guy who came was very good. They did a very good also in replacing a commode but it was expensive. The people who did the work were very professional. Their price was fair.

Very pleased with the service on our rental home. Worked very well with our tenants and took care of all concerns.

I thought it went well overall--especially in consideration of the multitude and seriousness of problems which had to be addressed. My comments above reflect the efforts of this company to stabilize the numerous difficulties of dealing with an older house.
