From the beginning this provider was very professional. We had gone to two other cabinet shops the same day we went here. From the time we stepped in the door this place was different. Someone immediately helped us, and gave us a quote. There was no pressure, and they took the time to see what we needed. They asked excellent questions and were very responsive to all of our questions.
Son Cabinetry arranged to tear out the old cabinets and put in the new ones while we were away. They came ahead of time and measured and gave us all of the details. Then, once they started we had several calls along the way explaining what they had done that day and how things were going. When the job was finished they sent pictures.
The work was finished on time and we are very pleased with our cabinets and with the provider. Based on our experience we highly recommend them.

The window seat was supposed to be 15 inches from the floor with a table in front. They made it 18 inches from the floor. I can now only put a 1 inch cushion on top, so it is uncomfortable. They told me that they had in-house re-finishers but they did not. They had to come back 3 times because the color kept fading and it continues to fade.
I asked them to build 2 new cabinets and the wood does not match the other wood in the kitchen. The re-finishers and owner came back to check it and they blamed it on the time of day and light hitting it. It looked like pieced together cheap oak panels. It took the color very strangely because of this. The hinges were not put back where they belongs because he thought it would look better. They had to come back two times to fix because it cuts the door. They blamed it on type of hinges, not the placement.

"We at Son Cabinetry and Design pride ourselves on customer service, and handling each, and every one of our jobs to 100% satisfaction. We have been business for 11 years, at the same location, and we also live here in the valley. Most of our business is referrals, and we can't thank our amazing customers enough for spreading the word about the quality craftsmanship, and outstanding customer service we provide. The cost of the signed contract for the job described here by the Customer was $5,365, and was completed over 1 year ago. We had visited the home on multiple occasions per the customers request to complete her job to her satisfaction. Since we were paid in full, and never heard from the customer again, we figured that the Customer was satisfied with the project. Our refinishers are some of the best in the business, and we stand behind their work. When dealing with refinishing existing cabinetry to match new cabinetry, the color will never match 100% strictly because colors will change and/or fade over time. We make this known to our customers at the time of purchase and require them to sign off on this information. We encourage our customers to contact us if they have any issues with their cabinetry, at any time, after the installation is complete. We thoroughly believe in satisfaction, and we work hard each day to make sure this is achieved. Thank you, All of us at Son Cabinetry"

From the estimate through the execution, Son Cabinetry was professional and competent in every sense. They came on time, finished the job as scheduled, and did a wonderful job. I am picky about workers and I have no complaints at all. I would definitely use them again. And, besides, they gave me a senior discount!

Owner came to my home and what I was interested in doing. His first design was more money then I planned to spend so he worked with me to get a design within my budget. I then went to design studio pick the wood and doors. He gave me a date in the future to begin construction and his crew arrived right on time every day and it was completed on time.

Overall it was a very positive experience. We had spoken to many other contractors before choosing Son Cabinetry and Design and we are completely convinced that we made the right choice. We met with Suzette, Matt and Rosario several times (both in their showroom and in our home) before making the final decision. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and kept us informed of the progress every step of the way. The installation process went very smoothly and we couldn't be happier with the result. We would, and have, highly recommended them.

THE FIRST PERSON WE HAD CONTACT WITH WAS WENDY, SHE WAS HELPFUL WITHOUT TRYING TO PUSH UP TO THE MOST EXPENSIVE WOOD AND CABINETS. SHE WAS CONSIDERATE THAT THIS WAS A SECOND HOME AND I WANTED TO GET THE MOST BANG FOR MY BUCK. DOING BUSINESS WITH SON CABINETS WAS LIKE DOING BUSINESS IN A SMALL TOWN, IT IS HARD TO FIND THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYMORE. WHEN STEVE, THE INSTALLER, COULD NOT FIND US AT HOME, HE WOULD COME TO THE POOL AND LET US KNOW HE WAS HERE, I DID NOT HAVE TO SIT IN MY HOUSE TO WAIT FOR HIM.
